I had a very disappointing experience with BlossomUp.
I signed up for what was presented as a psychology test costing USD 1.95. At no point during checkout was it clearly stated that I was enrolling in a recurring subscription. Only later did I discover multiple USD 29.95 monthly charges on my credit card.
The subscription terms were not transparently disclosed before payment — they were buried in fine print in the email confirmation, which most users would only see after being charged.
The cancellation process was also unnecessarily complicated and difficult to find, which made the situation even more frustrating.
This type of pricing and subscription design feels misleading and predatory, especially for users who may already be in a vulnerable emotional state when seeking psychological tests.
I strongly encourage others to read all terms very carefully before entering payment details.
This test, it was very comprehensive, and the result's turned out to be amazingly accurate! It pegged my love languages dead on for what makes me feel loved, however, that is not to say my husband has the same love languages, nor meets my needs. So, it left me feeling sad. I've been married thirty five years, and already feeling frustrated because my husband doesn't
do most of the things that makes me feel loved. It's my clinical impression he's a narcissist. I'm retired LCSW, and always been an independent woman working long hours away from home. But now that I am home with him, I'm realizing how unfulfilling the relationship is to me. Work used to keep me so busy, and exhausted. Additionally, I had so many friends, during that time, but now that it's just us, I feel so alone and unfulfilled. After taking this test, it's more clear to me why. He has never been physically or emotionally, intimate, honest, or someone I can have deep intellectual communication with. And marital counseling will not likely help, because he's a narcissist. He does not want or feel the need to change, will act like he's a victim, charm the therapist, and put all the blame on me. So the test is really good if you are dating someone, and you both take the test. You see what the other person's needs are, and if they are compatible with yours. CONSIDER WHETHER YOU ARE EACH CAPABLE OF FULFILLING THE OTHER PERSON'S NEEDS. A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN! If not, I RECOMMEND YOU DON'T STAY IN A LONG-TERM UNFULFILLING RELATIONSHIP with THAT person.
I simply went to take an Enneagram test with friends and paid the $2.00 or whatever to get my results, but a week later to my surprise I am getting charged $30.00. They did not make it clear anywhere that my card would be used in the future for a subscription. Sincerely a broke college student.
They advertise a test, you take it, you spend some minutes to complete it to find in the end that you have to pay to find the result.
A fair approach would be to let the test takers know the cost in advance.
In addition, after I posted the review, I got a notification that the review was flagged defamatory by the business. Well, it is not. It is reality.
Lots of leading questions, use of "and " to get desired leaning away from different ideas, and a clear Bias of the test maker. Example they try several times to link inequality and jobs as the same thing. Inequality is more than a person working for another. It ignores information access, existing wealth, having protected freedoms, access to unbias news, and access to using technology in order to innovate. Then say see most people agree with my way of thinking and that jobs are the only issue. If the question was unbiased there would be no AND used.
There was totally false and misleading information. They did not inform until the end of the survey that it was necessary to pay to obtain the results. Therefore, it is an abuse of trust, they induce deception
I spent nearly an hour doing this, and took time out of my busy schedule to do this test because one of my dear friends said it was fun. I found out only when I was finished that I had to pay money for my results and it is truly disgusting. Please if you read this before doing it, just pick another and free test because they are a lot more accurate, less time consuming, and you don’t have to pay literal money to get results you should have gotten for free.
Spent like a whole 15 minutes doing a ‘free’ test that was suppose to be 5 minutes. Not only did I waste my time on this bullshit but in the end it asks me to pay?? Disgusting website wasting peoples time. Unclear and just overall unprofessional.
At first the test seemed interesting, so I checked It out, but my doubts came when my IQ came as pretty seriously high, searched more about it and found that they throw you into a subscription without telling you (if you pay the 1 to 3 bucks for the results) and the subscription is wayy more than that, thankfully I cancelled quickly before anything happened, but NO MESSAGE about the subscription, it just started as soon as I payed the 3 quid, not even mentioned at where I paid. Absolutely a scam which payed many to leave 5 star reviews, avoid it for your own sakes, take care.
