I ordered dinner for the family and in the deliver where half of the items mistress. I paid 63 EUR and sence it wasn't possible the get the missing items to complete the order the customer service offered an in app refund of 4 EUR. After I refused the refund amount the customer service wend silent and no one answered anymore. This service is a joke.
I got sick with the flu and wanted to order food to be delivered so I wouldn’t have to go anywhere. I waited for my order for 1h 40min (I’m a regular customer – usually orders from this place were delivered within 30 minutes). I repeatedly contacted customer support asking why the delay, and they told me they were overloaded and asked me to wait longer. In the end, when I couldn’t stand it anymore and wrote again, they simply offered to refund me without delivering the order. I believe that with such a huge delay, they should have offered the food free of charge. In the end, I sat waiting for almost 2 hours and got nothing, wasted my time, and they refused to compensate me. Now with a fever of 38.2°C, I’m forced to go to the store myself. Terrible customer service!
Delivery guy came at 400 m, refused to come at address,insisted he is at right address when he wasn't,kept calling, hanging up and being rude. He was literally telling me to hurry up to go to him to pick up my food. If I wanted and had time to walk 10 minutes for food, I wouldn't order.There is no customer service, just bot. Ordered via Bolt Food , total 22 EUR. The order was prepared quickly by the restaurant, but the assigned courier detoured across the city and marked the order as “picked up” while far from the restaurant. After 30+ minutes in a paper bag, the food was no longer acceptable, so I refused the order at the door.I opened a support ticket before delivery, but after 1h21m I received a dismissive message telling me to “pay more attention when placing orders,” and the ticket was closed without clarifying any refund. A second ticket was handled by multiple agents who claimed—incorrectly—that I had accepted the order and offered only a 1 EUR credit. The last agent closed the chat immediately after saying I would not receive a refund, while I was typing my clarifications.Result: I paid 21 EUR for a refused order, with misleading courier status updates and unhelpful, inconsistent and rude support. This is not a one-off; it reflects a pattern of poor service and avoiding responsibility. I do not recommend Bolt Food.
I do not recommend Bold Food Romania. Every single time I placed an order with them, something went wrong. Either they sent me leftover kebab meat that was dry and not fresh, or items were missing from my order. The latest issue was the worst: they took my money, cancelled the order right away, and now I have to wait two days to get my money back. This is unacceptable. They take customers’ money and fail to deliver. Avoid ordering from them.
As a cab driver working so hard to keep up my head above water but these app companies like bolt letting us down very big time. The jobs which we were doing three years ago still we do the same prices compare with loving costs are sky rocketing yet people complain of drivers cancelling.
Last time I use Bolt Food, what a joke. I ordered something that would take max 10 minutes to deliver, but Bolt's system lets a driver that is literally TOWNS AWAY, over 1 hour of him just DRIVING BACK, to go all the way back and get it and drive it to me. The food is literally useless and wasted, like it's completely cold and crap. WTF do BOLT let drivers that have over 40+ minutes of driving time just to get to the location, why do they allow them to take these deliveries. I'm definitely disputing this entire meal. NEVER USE BOLT FOOD.
Bolt Food support is completely useless. Every time there’s an issue, you’re left with zero help. Couriers can leave your food at the door without handing it to you — and if it gets stolen, it’s your problem. You might receive a dish with an allergen not listed in the menu, and support will just say “that’s normal,” claiming the restaurant has the right to do so and that photos are for illustration only.It’s absurd.
I ordered via Bolt Food in Romania. The courier marked the order as “delivered,” but I never received anything. I called him, he admitted he left with my order and said he’d come back, but then disappeared.Customer support left me waiting with no real help or refund. I have full proof (call logs, screenshots) and have filed a complaint with Romanian consumer protection (ANPC). It’s unacceptable that a courier can do this with no consequences.No protection for the customer. Terrible experience. I strongly do not recommend Bolt Food.
