Wrong items arrived; the colour of the product that arrived absolutely did not match the picture on the website (Red and Brown are miles apart). Trying to talk to a human for customer service help is a truly painful experience of needing to repeat yourself endlessly, going in circles, and never getting a clear answer. No response via email and bots on the other messaging platforms.

Would not recommend shopping here. I know I used to years back when it first popped up, but Boohoo has truly gone downhill since then.

Respectfully, spend more time and money on your customer service than you do on your marketing. No point attracting customers if you're unable to retain them.

Twice I have had to go to PayPal and dispute my boohoo refund. Both times they have had tracking showing delivery and boohoo have claimed not to receive them.. this time they didn't contact me for 6 days after they received it and I had to go to them, only to get stuck in a proof of delivery request loop...
There sizing can be widly off, I ordered a size UP and got something 2 sizes below. Not always tho I've had quite a few true to size stuff so it's a guessing game. Qaulity is hit and miss, I got a beautfiful dress for my cousins wedding for £20, I got a skimpy co-ord that looked NOTHING like the picture. If you are gonna order would recommend PayPal for protection or at least a credit card and read the reviews for each thing.

Avoid this service at all costs!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I have been a customer for years, but after they mistakenly refunded my credit instead of the original payment, things took a turn for the worse. They refuse to correct the issue, ignoring all my emails and messages. When I finally received a response, it was rude and unhelpful, consisting of generic automated replies. The customer service team has been appalling, calling me a liar despite numerous similar complaints from others. Clearly, I’m not alone in this experience. I strongly advise against shopping with this service.

Terrible experience with gift card returns

This has been an awful experience with gift card returns. My pregnant wife lost £500 during the Christmas season while trying to find a suitable maternity dress, which is difficult to assess online. The customer support team consistently refuses to assist us. Automatically opting for a gift card return instead of a refund to the original account feels like a blatant disregard for consumer rights.

I wish I could rate this lower. They've recently introduced a hidden fee of 4.99 for 'delivery protection,' which feels unreasonable since you're already paying for delivery. It’s frustrating that opting out is the only choice available. Additionally, many products now come from 'partners,' meaning next-day delivery is no longer guaranteed, and returns often incur charges. I would recommend steering clear of this service if possible!

It turns out the name I trusted has been taken over by another entity, which misleads many into thinking they are honest and ethical. Unfortunately, my experience has shown the opposite, revealing a pattern of deception with products sourced from questionable companies, as I confirmed through public records. I encountered what felt like a typical scam, receiving numerous misleading emails that included fake delivery and tracking details. Contacting the seller proved impossible; there was no phone number or email, and their so-called "contact us" page only led to automated responses through messaging apps, providing no real assistance. After realizing the situation, I reached out to my payment provider, who promptly issued a refund. It's disheartening to see such practices allowed to continue globally.

STEER CLEAR, THEY'RE FRAUDULENT! I returned items in mid-November and received an email indicating my refund has been placed on a gift card, which I did not select. When I reached out to the support team, they claimed I chose this option, and once processed, it's locked and unchangeable. This is simply untrue; that option was never presented to me. They made this decision without my consent and are now refusing to refund my money. I'm out £100 for items I've returned. Their customer service is nonexistent, only providing automated responses. Avoid this company!
