I had a great experience at Brakes Plus! I brought my car in for an A/C service and a brake inspection. The team provided excellent customer service and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I left with my A/C blowing cold air again, just in time for the warm weather. Thank you to the entire team!

We brought my son’s car in for a tune-up and were advised it needed spark plugs, belts, and oil leak repairs. We paid approximately $680 for those services. One week later, the check engine light returned. We paid an additional $100 diagnostic fee and were again told the vehicle needed spark plugs, belts, and oil leak repairs — the same items we had just paid for. After discussions with management, we were charged roughly another $500 under what was described as “warranty” work.
A month later, the check engine light came back on. At that point, we sought two independent evaluations without disclosing prior repairs. Both mechanics confirmed the spark plugs were still factory (had not been replaced), the belts needed replacement, and there is now a significant oil leak.
We have documentation, invoices, and third-party confirmations supporting this timeline. In total, we have spent nearly $2,000 and the original issues were never properly repaired.
We are sharing this experience so others can make an informed decision.
I arrived first thing in the morning on 12/18/25 due to unexpected car trouble that occurred the night before. Despite having always gone to a nearby garage, I found that another service had taken over. They quickly diagnosed the issue as a broken safety recall part, which I later received notice about from the manufacturer just days after. My car, with only 36k miles but over 5 years old, was addressed with care. They explained the problem thoroughly and guided me on how to communicate with the service department. While I arranged for a tow truck, they kept me company for an hour and even provided a Lyft home, refusing to let me pay for it. I wasn't charged for anything that morning. I can't express enough how kind these individuals were. After a demanding work week and with the emotional weight of an upcoming family birthday, they transformed a stressful experience into a manageable one. Their compassion and generosity truly stand out.
I visited on a Friday afternoon and received prompt attention. They gathered my information and explained the issue clearly. After comparing options, I found the price to be quite reasonable. Although I wasn't planning to spend much, I'm really thankful that the issue was resolved.

The manager embraced the challenge, sourced the unique parts, and ensured they were installed. To top it off, they even provided Christmas cookies for me and my toddler while we waited for our ride. The work was completed in just a few hours, and I was back on the road. Their positive reviews are well-deserved!
I received a warm welcome and excellent assistance with my car's wheel alignment at this location. The store manager offered a complimentary alignment check before I had to commit to any payment based on the results. This approach is a refreshing change from other car service centers that typically require a signature for payment as soon as you walk in. Although my car was functioning well, I had been advised by dealers during oil changes that an alignment was necessary, especially since it had been over 6000 miles since the last one (which is often needed for tire warranty purposes). I was fortunate to meet a fantastic technician who performed the test, and the alignment results had only minor issues. He didn’t show me the details but immediately began making corrections and informed me that there would be no charge. Gene and the store manager were incredibly generous! They truly care about their customers. This store provides outstanding customer service!
