I recently purchased a vegan cinnamon bun that was burnt, and the shop assistant insisted it wasn't. She refused to replace it and suggested I use an air fryer at home. As a regular customer, I’m very disappointed and won't be returning.
Wow - these buns are incredible! My daughter picked up a Cardamom Bun and a Pistachio Bun, and they were both extraordinarily delicious! The Cardamom Bun was moist and sweet but not overly so, with a lovely cardamom flavor. The Pistachio Bun was my favorite—packed with roasted pistachios, crispy yet moist, and perfectly sweet. I’m hooked and can’t wait to return!
I’ve always loved the buns from another location, so I was excited about the new branch. However, the buns I tried here were quite average—drier and less enjoyable. I might give them another shot in a few weeks, but there seems to be a consistency issue between locations.
I bought several buns, and I was shocked by how small they were for such a high price. Only the cheesecake was a decent size and tasted good, but it upset my stomach. The chocolate bun was too salty for my daughter. The dulce de leche bun had excessive caramel and barely any chocolate, not resembling Nutella at all. Overall, it’s overhyped and not worth the money. The misleading marketing needs to be addressed.
At the Camden branch, the product quality is excellent but pricey. I bought a box of six for £24, but the customer service was lacking. They packed it in a larger box, causing the buns to shift during transport, which could damage them. I asked for two more to stabilize the box and was refused, despite offering to pay. They just gave me a bag, which didn’t work well. In the end, the buns were damaged, and I question if the price is justified.
The double pistachio weekend special did not resemble or taste like what I had from another location. I also had to wait 45 minutes for delivery. The server seemed indifferent to replicating the product accurately. I’ve filed a complaint and am still waiting for a refund after seven days. I’m disappointed as a loyal customer.
