Responsiveness from their isle of man office is terrible . Further it’s compounded by staff asking for more and more Information . I am an existing customer wanting to assign bonds to my children. It feels impossible . You never get a response on email other than automated (over one month typically or just ignored) and if you call them , it takes at least one hour to speak to anybody) - currently been waiting for 35 minutes and now no. 9 in the queue. Staff are very nice if ever you get to speak to them. Probably well understaffed and not properly trained - that’s not an excuse for management and leadership . Beware of Canada Life And this call will likely cost me £20/£30 from my mobile since not part of UK mobile plan 😡I note your reply below . It seems that customer service care more about trustpilot reviews than customers going through direct to the company which says it all. I did email this email address you reference below last week and I have heard nothing yet . I did also speak to one of your colleagues when I eventually got through after waiting one hour (and £50 cost for call £50 call to isle of man). He was very patient, fully accepted service was very poor over an extended period, but could not commit to resolution and had apparently raised with senior management. I am surprised I have received no feedback yet. Update 26 Jan: apparently issue elevated , they acknowledge responsibility and launched an investigation. Actually I just want this assignment to take place , and they can separately do their investigation . Canada life complicate every step of the way. So depressing
This experience has allowed us to organise areas of our home by adding a large conservatory and a light tunnel above the lounge area. These two areas are now key to our living. In addition the reasonable monthly payments have allowed us to pay the balance and gradually pay a little off the loan every year leaving us feeling very comfortable with the outcome.
