Review Time
Let down too many times now by a company that used to be so good. The whole point of pre booking at a specific time is because you need to get somewhere at a specific time. The latest was pre booking 2 weeks in advance for a post wedding pick up 20+ miles from home. The driver was only dispatched at the pick up time (12:45am) and was over 20 miles from the pick up location eventually turning up 35+ mins late after the venue had closed. Phoned Cannon Cars 3 times barely getting an apology for the pathetic service and still had to pay for full fare to rub insult to injury. My wife and I used this company regularly for airport runs, but how can we now there is no guarantee you'll either get the car or get to the location on time and not to mention the times to and from the airport where the drivers have been too tired and swerving over the road amongst other problems we've had in the past? Steer clear and use a more reliable company and a company that cares about their customers!
Extremely rude and unhelpful customer service I have come accross. After using them 3-4 times a week I will be looking for more reliable and customer friendly company. Interesting, if the company director reads the feedbacks at all as they have so many bad reviews. I wonder if some of the reviews lead to the same rude woman answering the phone calls...
Rude and unreliable. Taxi failed to appear when pre booked on two occasions, one for a family wedding and the other for an airport pickup. Receptionist also rude and indifferent; I phoned to enquire about a taxi to London during the train strike and was immediately cut off half way through giving the post code to be told they are ‘not travelling into London’ during a train strike. A more professional tone would be appreciated. Won’t be using again and would never recommend.
A while back my wife was left stranded at the Savoy in London when her pre-booked cab failed to appear. Despite the indifferent response to this she gave them the benefit of the doubt. Today her pre-booked return cab did not appear. The office was contacted and they said one would arrive in 20 minutes. 20 minutes later still no cab so another call was made only to be told a car would be sent in another 20 minutes. When she complained the response was 'tell it to the boss". Rather than just doing this I thought I would tell everyone!
