Mixed Experience

The trip out to Heathrow was great. The driver was punctual, polite and drove safely and with consideration for his passengers. When we arrived back at Heathrow, however, nobody was waiting for us, even though our plane was on time and we got through customs quickly. This was not late at night - it was a Sunday 6pm. I called their hotline repeatedly and nobody answered. Finally after many calls someone did answer. They investigated the problem and said that the driver had got stuck in traffic - there was an accident. Fair enough. So we waited. And waited a bit more. I was just about to call them again when the phone rang. The driver was strangely at a different terminal and we needed to get there immediately. So we hauled all of our luggage across Heathrow. It turned out not to be that far, but we didn't know if we were even going the right way. We eventually found our driver. He seemed in a big hurry, and drove at high speed. He was clearly a good driver, but he took a lot of risks and made us feel so sick we had to wind the window down on a cold night. It made me wonder if he was really the driver we had booked, or another driver who had dropped off some other passengers and was now being made to drive us. We got home in the end, only a little late, but it made for unnecessary stress at the end of a tiring 11 hour flight.

Cannon 55 Darren I arranged a pick up from Gatwick…

I arranged a pick up from Gatwick airport for my disabled mother and I for around 2 o’clock in the morning the driver called Darren CANNON55 called me while we landed to reassure me of the pick-up he asked to speak to the disabled assistant guy helping my mother Darren was absolutely amazing he is an asset to the cab office for his continuous help and assurance during our experience.. I am flying frm Gatwick regularly and will always request cannon55 Darren !!!

DO NOT BOOK!!!

DO NOT BOOK!!!Awful experience when I booked a cab to Heathrow at 3am.The driver was rude and falling asleep at the wheel. Pay more for a cab but do not book here.

Would give a zero as no service given Failed to turn up even though booked ans and confirmed 11 days earlier. 4 pensioners, Inc 2 ladies in London stranded in London in the early hours of Saturday morning. BE AWARE

I prebooked a car to the airport by…

I prebooked a car to the airport by email and received a prompt response confirming my booking (nice surprise as it was on a Saturday evening I emailed!) the car turned up on time, the driver even helped with my luggage! He seemed to know the area really well and managed to avoid road closures etc, without taking forever to get round them! I immediately booked for my return journey, same story! Definitely will be using these guys again!

DO NOT USE!I ordered a car on the 31st May 2023 to take my elderly husband to hospital. I also rang the day before to confirm, clearly stating it was for an important appointment. No car arrived. I was told there was a shortage of drivers!! I had to go with my elderly husband on the bus. When I complained, I got a sort of apology and decided to show goodwill by using them again. The manager Paul told me he would, as I was giving them a second chance , give me a discounted price on a further call-out. On the 19th August 2023, I needed collecting from hospital after an op. When my husband rang he was told there wasn't a driver in the immediate area and it might be just over an hour. There was no record of the 'discount' previously agreed, and later Paul, who I take to be the manager, said that would only have applied if I had pre-booked, which I could not do, as time of discharge was not entirely precise. In any case I had pre- booked the car in May, and that hadn't turned up at all! It took 2 hours for a car to show up, with a driver who had come from either Beckenham or Catford. Completely inexplicable, as it was only to St Thomas's. The driver appeared confused as to where he had been and despite apparently tracking drivers, the controller ( we had to ring twice to check progress) gave us 2 different times as to when he might arrive, and did not seem to know where he had been either. It did not seem to occur to anyone to contact US and keep us in the picture. Paul seemed to feel that he HAD communicated with us, because WE had phoned Canon cars!! He eventually offered us a small amount of money off the bill, but to be honest, it felt wrong to take it ( so we didn't) and so we are able to write a completely honest review.Instead of admitting that the whole customer service had been awful, Paul kept seeming to justify and excuse it all, almost implying we were at fault! Obviously we will never, ever use Canon cars again which is very sad, as we have used them over the years ( though not very recently until this debacle) and been happy. This seems to reflect the experience of too many others.

Booked a 7 seater with luggage space to…

Booked a 7 seater with luggage space to collect from Luton airport at 1am. When on plane missed a call to ask how many people and if we had luggage !l (obviously couldn’t answer call) But received confirmation of booking. Got a message at 12:20 to say car outside, once collected luggage went outside … no car. Called and got told car wasn’t outside and was on way and should be with us in around an hour (this was at 12:55) after many calls finally a driver who was obviously half asleep arrived and said he was woken up to take the booking . Took ages to get back as didn’t even know the way… DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY

Shocking Service

Shocking level of service ordered a 6 seater cab and clearly stated we had 4 large suitcases, which we also rang on a second occasion to confirm this with them. A 6 seater cab turned up but 2 seats took up the entire book space leaving a seat to put 4 large cases on at 2.30am. We drove to the airport with cases across our laps with no seatbelts on as they would not fit. Called the office and was told nothing could be done, awful will not be using again or recommend to anybody.

Worst experience EVER with a driver

SHOCKING and worst experience EVER with a driver , he was rude , argumentative and intimidating on my special needs Grandson's PROM night , his once in a lifetime SPECIAL night RUINED by this unprofessional and highly intimidating driver who left me in TEARS on the most special night of our lives!!!He just kept unnecessarily arguing with me and arguing with me and NOT listening to where I wanted to go , kept refusing to take the address over and over and said ''WE will 'find it' when we get to the area'' ( he did NOT actually know where the sports centre was himself )NO ''we'' would not find it as I had only been there once that day to drop my Grandson off at the venue ( with a lovely driver ) and I would NOT recognise the roads and remember the correct journey and I told him that but he would not listen to me NOR take the address which in the end the operator gave him and he listened to HER and took it from her after reducing me to tears on this VERY SPECIAL NIGHT!!THEN one of the operators tried to get me to ''close my eyes'' for her to try and do some sort of relaxation technique on me!Like I was in the WRONG for being SO UPSET by this rude , abrupt and completely disrespectful driver who had NO personable customer service skills whatsoever and I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT NEED an operator on the phone who is a stranger to me telling me to ''close my eyes'' to go through some sort of calming technique with her like she is my self appointed therapist , NO thank youI NEED professional drivers and staff , that is all , and I do NOT need to be told to shut my eyes and do a calming exercise with someone which made me feel much WORSE and guilty for even being so upset after my worst minicab journey ever , on PROM night , so decided to get an Uber home , which made me feel MUCH BETTER and I was actually perfectly CALM when collecting my Grandson once I had cancelled and absolutely got RID of Cannon cars FOR GOOD and had decided for us to simply get an UBER home , which went very smoothly and without problem thank you :-) :-)NEVER again will I use Cannon Cars and this is our forever home and I would have used them forever if they used better staffAbsolutely unacceptable and shocking INCLUDING being told to ''close my eyes'' by the operator so she could do a calming exercise with ME like it was my fault for actually being so upset and worried that I was going to be LATE to pick my Grandson up from his prom at this rate or even have the driver refuse take me at ALL which is the ''threatening point'' HE WAS ACTUALLY AT as he had ALL of the power and he had remained static for absolutely AGES and would NOT LISTEN to me and rudely argued and argued with me for no reason and ended up traumatising me and when we got to the venue he also said he CANNOT DO the wait and return I had BOOKED him for ''if I am too long'' and that he will then just ''go'' and they would have to ''send someone else'' so how insecure is THAT that he ''may or may not'' still even BE there when I came out of the venue after 10pm at night with my SEN Grandson for us to be potentially STRANDED , so NO I cancelled him and then his replacement driver from Cannon as had lost ALL faith in them by then and perhaps maybe do that ''calming technique'' on your RUDE AND ABUSIVE DRIVER BEFORE he interacts so obstructively , sharply and intimidatingly with his customers! :-(ThanksThe 2nd star was just for some of the other PREVIOUS lovely drivers and operating staff , including the lovely driver who TOOK my Grandson and I TO the prom venue and seamlessly TOOK the address I gave him and actually therefore thankfully got the both of us THERE so absolutely 100% perfectly! :-)( P.S I will NOT be calling a manager so please do not respond to this review nor ask me to , will ABSOLUTELY 100% be going elsewhere and the matter is over as an Uber thankfully saved the day and got us home at least and much more professionally , ta )

rang from phone at Sainsbury…

rang from phone at Sainsbury supermarket and informed to wait for 30 minutes. no car came and when rang up the organisation, i was informed my name and cab request had not been registered.Like using this service but will avoid now.
