Do not use Car body lab! Take your vehicle to a professional body shop. I’m extremely disappointed with the paint work done by Car body lab on my vehicle. The entire reason I had work done was to fix a small scratch on my car, have the paint properly matched and blended, but the results were far from acceptable.
The new paint does not match the original color at all. The difference is obvious in both sunlight and indoor lighting — it’s noticeably off in tone and shade. Instead of blending seamlessly, the repaired area stands out immediately. For a company to stand on its “professional work” color matching should be basic competence, and this was handled very poorly.
On top of that, the finish quality is subpar. The surface looks uneven, and the overall job feels rushed. When I brought up my concerns, the remedy was to have the technician redo the work using the preferred method of scanning the paint for a seamless matching. This method should have been executed in the first place.
I trusted them with my vehicle and paid for professional results, but unfortunately, that’s not what I received. I would not recommend this shop to anyone expecting high-quality paint work or proper color matching. Now I am going to pay hundreds if not thousands of dollars to fix their work. Very disappointing experience.

Subpar work by technicians that aren’t motivated to do excellent work. They have a “guarantee” to return and fix, but then don’t show up. You can only text with their AI bot—impossible to reach anyone by phone. I will be filing BBB complaint with pictures of what they did to my car. Please AVOID this scam company!
I hired Car Body Lab for dent repair, ignoring warnings in favor of convenience—a decision that led to a costly month-long ordeal.I initially requested two repairs. For a small dent without paint damage, they overcharged, insisting on applying clear coat across the entire panel (a process unnecessary for a simple dent, which should have been Paintless Dent Repair). The technician failed to follow entry instructions and later explicitly directed me to **tip him via Zelle**, a significant red flag I regretted immediately. The initial repair was incomplete, leaving **dimpling**. For the small dent, the tech used **filler**, which was improper and created extensive damage: **rippling, pock marks, and scratches**, severely lowering my one-year-old car’s resale value. The work on both sides was messy and unfinished.Despite clear photo/video evidence, Car Body Lab refused my request for a different technician, insisting on sending the original, whom they claimed was "experienced." Two subsequent "fix" appointments failed to resolve the damage. Following the third visit, the tech left behind a **mess** (compound stains, overspray, trash), which I had to clean up.Car Body Lab engaged in a frustrating, repetitive cycle of asking for pictures and promising internal consultation, offering only more appointments instead of a refund. This process felt like **active avoidance of conflict resolution**. After a month, I refused further work and demanded a refund.I opened a credit card dispute after they went silent on my refund request. A professional body shop later confirmed the Car Body Lab work was amateur: they noted the **mismatched, lighter paint** and stated the filler would crack and fade. They fixed the damage properly.Car Body Lab delivered unacceptable work and unprofessional service. They damaged my car, refused a refund, and wasted my time with multiple failed repairs. **I strongly advise against using this mobile service.**
Contacted them to fix a sensor that had been pushed in. They may do quality work I have no idea if they do or not. I was informed that they couldn’t do any electrical or mechanical work only minor body work to the car so since it is a sensor that needs realignment, I imagine they consider that electrical.
