Review Time
VERY disappointed!!! NOTE: read ALL the "fine print"! I was "offered" a specific amount for my car.... BUT, upon meeting up with the towing company, the amount drastically reduced!! Add to that, the language barrier of individual towing, made things even worse. I personally will NEVER trust this company again
Bait and switch. Guy was 2 hours late showing up then told me he could only give me 50% of my online "guaranteed" quote because the cats had been replaced (with OEM replacements). I explicitly asked when setting up the appointment if there was anything they need to know about the car. "no just have the title and keys ready". If its that important, add it to the other handful of questions up front about the condition of the car!! I suspect these guys were trying to skim off the top.In hindsight I should have let the guy sit outside for an hour while they debate their little bait and switch game vs. how much their time is worth... Between being late and their lowballing It ended up wasting more of my time than the car is worth. Extremely unprofessional and sleazy.
Shernell Quamina was my contact. Initially I was very anxious that I would be taken advantage of and that there would be problems. Shernell explained everything thoroughly, including detailed information that the check to me would be written out from Copart, Inc through Bank of America. She also explained that if I was offered cash, or if anything seemed out of line I should call her immediately. I also was contacted directly by the towing company. I took pictures of the car when it was being loaded and got the tow truck drivers license, as well as the check that was issued to me. (Just in case something went wrong) Everything went smoothly. The check was large and cleared by the following morning. I also received a bill of sale email from CashforCash reminding me to report the sale to DMV. Shernell also contacted me after the sale was complete to see if everything went well. It did! I highly recommend CarsforCash. Note: A different company that I originally contacted was very pushy and I had at least 3 people contacting me. Even when I said the car had been sold, they are still calling and texting me. Use CarsforCash- nothing else.
A representative Vijay, wasted my time to give me an offer for my 2007 Newmar Kountry Star 40 Ft diesel motor home that is in very good condition in and out. We certainly are not desperate to sell it , but would like too. His offer was $1500 to come and TOW it away! Lol, we are currently traveling in it from The east coast to S Texas. He must think we are fools. I would never recommend this company.
I decided to try this on their website but so far it is horrible. I put in the car info and all of my info and then it never showed any offer, only for me to call and I did and all they did was told me to wait until someone in my area wants to buy it. I did not like how this works and no one even explained it to me. They seemed rude. I do not know where these good reviews are coming from and I do not like people calling my phone number during certain hours and that makes me very upset.
