Review Time
Thank goodness I didn't buy windows, but I did strongly entertain the idea of buying. Their salesman came to my home and was pitching their product for 2 1/2 hours. Then they give you a price that is way out of anyone's budget, but wait there's more ... Then they start knocking percentages off for all sorts of stuff - they even gave me 5% off because I answered a couple of questions correctly about what they had explained to me in their high pressure sales pitch. They then want to get you with a buy now tactic - put $100 down tonight to lock in this price ... if you find a comparable product we will beat their price and give you the $100 back. The catch is that you have to find a comparable product that is EVERYTHING they are selling, and yet one of those items is something that is only with their company. Sad to say that even I got suckered in to this $100, but thank goodness that is all they got out of me. I wish I would have been more wise and told them that if their product was that good today at that price that it would be good in a few days at the same price, but their tactics even got the better of me. When I had another window replacement company come in to give me a bid, their starting price on windows was $2000 lower that where Champion ended up after all of those percentages knocked off, and I don't feel that I am getting an inferior product. They are sharks waiting in the dark for unsuspecting customers. Even when I explained all of this to the salesman in a text, at first he wanted to know more, but then after I gave more of these details, I have heard nothing back from them. Seems to be that I hit the nail right on the head!!! Stay away from this company!!!!!!Update: Following Champion Windows reply to my post, I chose to contact them via the number provided. However, it was either wait on hold for who knows how long, or leave a message inviting them to contact me. Well, left a message leaving the ball in their court to see what they would choose to do ... surprise ... no return contact. They want people to think they care about your experience, but not so sure they really do. Once again, stay away from this company!!!
All aspects from order, delivery, install were excellent. Of note is the actual install and finished result is exceptional. We had two large sliding door and window replacement. The fit and finish for installing into an existing structure is excellent. The crew was on schedule, efficient, professional, and highly skilled. That is the point to note, highly skilled and the install shows that.Pleased in all aspects. One of those times where work is contracted and complete satisfaction with the materials, the products, and the installation.
I had a small patio enclosure installed. I could not be more pleased. From the beginning to the end, Champion really earned their title. They were professional, timely, did quality work and cleaned up when they finished.
We had Champion replace all our single-pane windows and doors. Everyone we worked with, from our sales rep (Ryan), to the division manager (Jared), to our installer (Travis), to the woman scheduling service calls (Victoria), to the folks who came out and answered service calls, Champion has shown great response time and everyone has been super friendly and helpful. They really have come out to fix everything from a scratched window to a broken screen with no questions asked and fantastic customer service.However, the windows themselves were a bit disappointing. The glass is fantastic and has a lovely shaded green tint that really brightens the view and dims direct sunlight, however, one of our windows was delivered with a large crack across the entire pane, and another had four 1-inch etches. Both were immediately replaced by the company, but it was a bummer from an install timeline standpoint. Additionally, the only screens they offer are fairly dark and chunky (hindering the view through that beautiful glass), and the thick 'craftsman' style vinyl frames look cheaply made (thick unblended seams and uneven corner joints). While the glass keeps most windows in the top tier of energy efficiency, I can't say I love that the thick frames obstructing an extra inch of possible glass around the perimeter.5+ stars for customer service and warranty. But I can't say I would rate the product itself so highly. A lower profile frame and screen would go a long way for me - our windows are large, so it's not really a big deal, but if we had smaller windows I would be incredibly disappointed.
Great experience from start to finish. Sales and coordination staff, installers and repair services always polite, on time and effective. We love our new windows. After a few weeks, we discovered that windows needed a couple of minor adjustments - they sent a repair technician out as scheduled and adjustments were completed in about 20 minutes.
