Like everyone else here I got fooled into thinking this was Claude / ChatGPT and the purchased subscription was not even applied to my profile. When I logged back in it was just a plain blank account with no purchases or history. I emailed them and Paddle fobbed me off. To make it worse, no refund and the help bot cancelled the subscription and access after 1 day because I contacted support. No refund, no product and what I saw was a half baked crap shoot.
Like others have reported, I accidentally signed up for this (the pop-up for an annual subscription came up when I was on another platform) and Paddle wouldn't issue me a refund. Hopefully, this report will help deter others from making the same mistake.
I typed “Claude” into my browser, and this site came up at the very top of the Google search results as a sponsored ad. I clicked it, thinking it was the official Claude site. The subscription price—less than $80 a year—seemed attractive, so I signed up.But immediately after the payment, I noticed something was off. The interface looked strange, and after checking more closely, I realized this was not Claude. I had been misled.I requested a refund right away, without ever using the service even once. The payment processor, Paddle.net, responded with the same bot-generated replies, repeating the same messages and actions every time. It’s been over three weeks, and nothing has been resolved. This site is pure evil.Stay away.------It is now August 14, 2025. Here is the progress update. After posting this review (though I’m not sure whether it was seen on paddle.net), I received an email from paddle.net and got a refund on August 4. I didn’t do anything else, so I think this review probably helped. I’m very grateful.
I subscribed to ChatbotApp – Image Generation Pack Yearly via Paddle on 10 July 2025. The product was shown in a way that made me believe I was subscribing to ChatGPT by OpenAI.After payment of $59.99, I realized this is not ChatGPT but another service called ChatbotApp, which I never intended to purchase. I immediately canceled the subscription but was refused a refund, even though I never used the service. This feels very misleading, as the branding and naming (ChatbotApp, similar to ChatGPT) tricks users into paying for something they did not want.I strongly urge others to avoid this service and be careful with any subscription related to ChatbotApp.
