Review Time
We ordered a rabbit shed on 25th June 2025 and were advised via live chat we were booked in for delivery the weekend of 26th/27th July. I heard nothing a week before delivery was due was contacted via live chat to confirm which day that weekend and a time for delivery. I also asked a totally different query at the same time. I got a response to my other query but they totally ignored the bit about delivery. I chased again the Thursday before the weekend the delivery was due, but again no response. I then recieved a phone call from Hannah who said she was one of the owners of the business advising they could deliver the shed on 4th August. I queried this as it had been confirmed via live chat for the 26th/27th July. Hannah advised the live chat agent had agreed the delivery date but not passed it on to the correct team so it was never booked in. Hannah advised the could deliver 3rd August at the earliest and they would give us free bunny hides for the inconvenience. I accepted this reluctantly and a delivery window was agreed for 3rd August. I recieved a call during the delivery window of 3rd August to advise they couldn't come now as the van had broken down the day before and their 3 other vans were apparently all in for a service (seemed odd). Delivery rearranged for 5th August and my husband took the day off work. Suprise suprise, the morning of 5th, around the time of the delivery slot, we recieved another call from Hannah advising the hire van was not big enough so they could not deliver. She tried to blame the hire company. I requested compensation due to 3 failed deliveries and the distress caused. Hannah eventually agreed to £100 compensation for the further mess ups and rearranged delivery for 8th August (this compensation was never recieved). 8th August arrives and suprise suprise another call from Hannah. Apparently the staff member due to do our delivery walked out that morning and they have no other option. I requested a full refund as with 4 failed deliveries we have reason to believe the shed may not even have been made and if it was, they were never planning on delivering. We have also had to deal with some incredibly rude staff when we have called in. Hannah did agree to the refund and advised it would show on our card within 5-7 days. After 7 days we contacted our bank as the money was not in our account (as we had suspected). A dispute was raised and Mastercard have completed a charge back to get us our refund. This has been extremely stressful for us and our bunnies are currently left in temporary accommodation (which this company knew as we took the old shed down ready for the delivery date we were given). After the first 3 failed deliveries, the company also refused to talk to us over the phone, blocked me from being able to live chat and refuse to reply to emails.Overall summary - shed never received (potentially never built), rude staff, constant lies and failed deliveries, so please avoid at all costs. We are now out of pocket as we have had to purchase emergency housing options for our bunnies whilst we wait for another company to deliver a shed.
We ordered a bunny house for our daughter and was told it was a 4 to 6 week lead time. We paid £1400 and was told to expect it on Friday 17th May 2024. We arranged and paid for someone to take down our garage on the 16th May 2024 to make room and our three rabbits were put in a garden shed overnight - at 10am we were told this was not coming as the van had broken down and it would arrive on Tuesday 28th May 2024 - we were going away for a week but the bunny house was more important as our rabbits were struggling in the shed so we cancelled our plans and waited again. We get an email to say its not coming as they van was still broken and the hire van had been double booked and then a telephone call to say it is coming on the 5th June 2024. Today my daughter rang at 10.00am to see if it was definately coming tomorrow so we can arrange to have another annual leave day from work. I telephoned at 12.07pm as we had not received a response as the number only goes to the reception people who have to get a message over, they were ringing me back. At 13.31 hrs I rang again and I am now still waiting. (13.44Why can no one give us a date for delivery - our bunnies are struggling in the shed and my daughter is very upset.I will edit this review if and when I receive my bunny house.Just for the reference the order is in the name of Rick Turfrey
I am really pleased with the tortoise pavilion that we ordered from Cherry Acres Animal Housing. It is of high quality and for an extra charge I was able to have the design changed slightly to fit in the area marked out for it.The delivery date was changed a few times, which was a bit frustrating, however, I was always informed of this change and the lady was always very apologetic.When the shed arrived, the team asked me to show them where it was to be installed. I was then given a run through of each section for the structure and was asked if I was happy. It took the team a few hours to install. I had to go out before they had finished, but I was called once it was completed.I can’t wait to move our tortoises in over the coming days! Many thanks again!😊🐢🐢🐢
Do not touch this company with a barge pole, they do not deliver, they do not communicate, they are rude, they blame the customer and they let you down. We ordered a Tortoise Lodge in March, £1400, heard nothing, I then chased in early May and was told they would deliver today - apparently not - do they care ..... No - AVOID at all cost!
Very disappointed that nothing lined up (the coop and run are very out of line of each other) and also there are screws absolutely everywhere. The install was late and therefore rushed. Everything seems botched. The doors don’t line up either and we have to lift them to close. What we have received does’t look like the advert photo does and we never would’ve bought this if we’d have know that the actual product you receive was this sub-standard.
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never been messed around so much, said they were going to deliver and didn’t, have now had the date changed multiple times they ring up the day before and say they have to change the date. I have had to take 3 days off work to wait in for a chicken hutch that will never clucking!!!! Arrive!!!!! The WORST place you could order from save your money and get a chicken run that will actually arrive!
