Great Service, great product! I got in touch with Chesneys, because I couldn´t find a supplier in Germany. From the start the contact was courteous and very helpful. Everything went absolutely smoothly.The Heat and Grill is well manufactured with these little details, which underline, that someone has put a lot of thoughts in it.
I'm a resident of Spain, where currently there is no local representative of Chesneys. After a couple of emails, customer service worked out a quote and logistics for shipping the product abroad. A few weeks later, a Heat & Grill found a new home in Spain. Amazing service!
Just 3 days before Christmas, the top firebrick of my Chesney Beaumont broke & fell into the fire. In a panic I rang Chesneys (Chris at Battersea) who was most helpful and I ordered the new part that same day. It was sent out that same evening at 7pm and reached me in the morning post. I was over-the-moon delighted and Christmas was saved!Full marks to Chesney's customer service.
I have now tried for over a year to get Chesney to explain the smoke that fills my room whenever we try to use our Salisbury wood stove, which sets off the smoke alarm. From "it needs to warm up first" to "there's cold air locked in the flue", nothing makes sense. Friends with stoves (granted usually of Nordic origin) are happily using their stoves nightly and opening and adding wood. My only conclusion is that this is either a substandard stove or they have no clue about how these stoves should be installed. Terrible experience. AVOID
Excellent purchase and professional service from delivery and sales teams, unfortunately due to purchasing my barbecue late in the season I have been unable to use it yet but looking forward to next year when the days get lighter and warmer.
We had a Chesneys gas wood burner stove fitted over 12 months ago and it is STILL not working. The after service we have received from Chesneys is absolutely unacceptable, they haven't even been out to check the safety of this gas stove. We have just had 8 days without electricity and one of our reasons for choosing a gas wood burning stove was to give us some heat during the power cuts that we sometimes have in this area, unfortunately what should be a welcoming focal point in the room is stone cold and unfit for use. The glass goes black in minutes and the acrid smell is unbearable. If it is turned off for a few minutes then tried again the stove will not even light. We understand that it has been difficult for many businesses over the last 18 months but we have been very fair and extremely patient although we wish now that we had not chosen a Chesneys product or had any dealings with Chesneys.
