Unfortunately I had to give a one star , since there is no zero! Like many people , I didn’t listen to the reviews . Spent close to 5k on a sectional and chair. Added , against my better judgement , the warranty for $500! What a waste ! It has spots all over the place and that’s not covered . Never again will I buy from city furniture !

My new Leather sofa set was under extended warranty and tech came out. He informed us that the frame was damaged, He asked how long had it been broken, I replied I don't really know because I had been in the hospital for a while. City furniture then called and informed me that because it had not been addressed immediately that it was not covered . I informed them that I was very upset about their misrepresented warranty program. After going back and forth discussions they agreed to repair the sofa. It took approximately 6 months for them to get the part and reschedule only to find out tech ordered wrong part. Then I proceed to get a call stating that the corner wood leg part of frame was broken and not covered. I am besides disappointed with the sub contracted tech, who then proceeded to challenge me, about the damage and in which he neglected to inform city furniture that the couch had not been used since I had been in the hospital for a long period of time. Now I have no choice but to have an independent company repair the sofa. I will never recommend City Furniture.

purchased new furniture in less than year had spots that were showing obvious wear had protection plan which fail to mention pets which this damage was clearly not but they sent third party to home walked in saw dogs and instantly wrote it off as pet damage called company expressed disapproval of how claim was handled ask for second opinion was quickly turned down long story short they promise the world selling the protection plan but deliver false information needless to say first time buyer last time buyer
We purchased a sectional sofa from City Furniture on July 4, 2025, with delivery on July 25, 2025. Within several months of normal residential use, the sectional developed significant defects, including:Severe rippling and deformation of the seat cushions, resulting in reduced comfort and supportFabric that appears dingy and does not clean properly, despite being advertised as stain- and moisture-resistantA cup holder component that does not remain secured on its track and frequently falls offThese issues developed gradually over time, consistent with latent defects—problems not immediately visible at delivery but caused by flaws in materials, manufacturing, or design.I submitted a warranty claim on January 17, 2026. On January 19, 2026, I was informed that the claim would be denied because the issue was allegedly “not reported on time.” This rationale is unreasonable for several reasons:The sectional is well within the 12-month manufacturer warranty.Warranties are intended to cover defects that appear during the warranty period, including gradual or progressive failures—not only issues visible immediately upon delivery. The defects described are not consistent with normal wear and tear.Reporting the problem once it became unacceptable is reasonable; most consumers would not report minor or slowly developing issues immediately. The sectional was sold as a $4,600 product marketed as durable and stain-resistant, creating a reasonable expectation that it would perform far beyond six months. In addition to the express warranty, the product is also subject to implied warranties under Florida law, including the implied warranty of merchantability, which requires that goods be fit for ordinary residential use and last a reasonable period of time.City Furniture sent a service technician to inspect the sectional on January 22, 2026. The technician confirmed that the condition of the furniture was not consistent with normal wear and tear after only 5.5 months of use. He further stated that the damage was due to poor quality and manufacturing defects, that the issues were irreparable, and that the sectional could not be repaired. He also confirmed that a hinge inside the cup holder was broken, which explains why it does not function properly. The technician indicated he would relay these findings to City Furniture. Shortly thereafter, I received a voicemail stating that the technician could not repair the issue and that City Furniture would not be able to move forward. During that same voicemail, it was also stated—incorrectly—that the damage occurred on the day of delivery. This is completely false and has never been claimed or suggested by me.Based on this experience, I am extremely disappointed with City Furniture’s handling of a clear warranty issue on an expensive product and would caution other consumers to carefully consider their warranty practices before purchasing.
I had a wonderful experience at City Furniture. Namara took exceptional care of me from the moment I walked in. She was patient, knowledgeable, and truly listened to what I was looking for. Thanks to her guidance, I found the perfect coffee table and couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Excellent customer service and a smooth, enjoyable shopping experience.
I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment with my recent experience with City Furniture. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have been dissatisfied, but this situation has been particularly upsetting and deserves to be addressed. When visiting your showroom, the sales team made strong promises about flexibility, support, and customer care. I was assured that if something was not right, City Furniture would work with me. Based on those assurances—and the policies clearly outlined on your website regarding exchanges within several days—I felt confident proceeding with my purchase. The couch was delivered, and within the same evening, my mother and I realized it was not something we were comfortable using. By the next morning—less than 12 hours after delivery—I contacted customer service to request an exchange. The couch was completely unused, still had all original stickers attached, and had not even been sat on.I was not asking for a refund. I simply requested an exchange for a different item.Despite reaching out well within the timeframe advertised on your website and communicated in-store, my request was immediately denied. No solution was offered, no flexibility shown, and no effort made to assist me as a customer. The contrast between what is promised in the showroom and how customers are actually treated afterward is extremely disappointing. As a result, I am now left with an expensive couch that I cannot use and am forced to sell on my own—after spending a significant amount of money and doing everything correctly as a customer. This experience reflects poorly not only on your customer service but also on the integrity of your policies and the quality of support provided after a sale is completed. It is deeply frustrating to be told one thing upfront and treated entirely differently once the transaction is finalized.I truly hope City Furniture reconsiders how it supports its customers, because no one should be left in this position after acting promptly, responsibly, and in good faith.Shame on a system that promises understanding and delivers none.
The West Palm Beach sales person was truly amazing, but unfortunately I bought the wrong table for a surprise, so I tried to return it. It took me six customer reps and probably six hours of my time. For me to say I'm going to chop the table up and give you a bad review. I was trying to buy a more expensive table and chair set, which made no sense to me. I will never ever buy a table or any furniture from this company. It's too bad SALES staff is really good. but the return policy is disgusting. escalation department is a joke. They read from the same script.
Wrong color of chairs delivered. Submitted a claim and was told the chairs were correct. I knew they were wrong so I called again and they determined I was correct. They put in a new order for the chairs only to have them delivered in the wrong color AGAIN. They said they would fix it but I won’t get the chairs until 2 weeks to which I said okay. They sent a text when the correct color was available so I scheduled the exchange. They never showed up or called. After contacting customer service they said they won’t be available until 5 months from then. Now I’m stuck with the wrong color (they’re white I ordered beige) and I’m scared to even use them because what if they get dirty and then they won’t exchange them for me. I don’t get why they text me saying something is available to order to then not be available? This is ridiculous.
