Requested DBS certificate after 12 days still no result. Charged £75 plus £15 to verify documents and £8 for speed of service. Do not use this company. You go around and around trying the upload your documents. I cancelled and they gave me £27 refund. So £47.50 charged to delay DBS certificate and forthcoming work. Go to gov.uk. DBS. Processed application in 20 minutes and a fraction of the price.
guys please read all the comments it is true this clear check out fit is an absolute scam it cost me 83 pound to start with then directed to another outfit at 12-50 and then clear check says the wrong documents what a load of crap.I told them I want my money putting back in to my account to only get 25 pound back or I think that's what's going back in.please keep a wide berth from these guys use UKGOV it only costs 18 pound.
Scammers. They took over £100 from me for a CRB document and for someone to verify these over the phone They never actually called the referee and never sent me a CRB. Then they started taking £8 a month from me and stated I have signed up for their ridiculous iCloud service which offers absolutely NOTHING! I wish I’d read the reviews first. Absolute fraud, why are they allowed to operate and advertise over Google?!!
Do not use this service. I have 20 employees and I ran a background check on myself just to see if this company is accurate. It did not pull up any records with my actual name and had a misspelled version of my name with general information about what county I'm in. I would think I had issues with ID theft if I didn't monitor my credit so closely and have ID theft monitoring. When I complained and asked them to run it again, they said to contact the credit bureau. I have viewed copies of credit reports as early as last week with no issues noted. I will not use this service anymore.
Avoid at all costs, this is a SCAM.I paid for the fast track service and received NOTHING.These thieving scammers even try to set up a direct debit to scam more money out of you.You can’t email or call them and they NEVER call you back.I’ve had to cancel my credit card and my credit card issuer has placed this company on their own scam list and are reporting them to trading standards and the police. AVOID !!!
Do not touch these Scammers with a barge pole. I clicked on their website to apply for a basic disclosure (they were at the top of the list - which was my first mistake - I should have gone to the government website). As I applied for the Basic application it was showing me an £18 fee - which was acceptable. No other costs were being shown. Before I had even uploaded the relevant documentation necessary for them to process this they had sent me a bill for £65.00. I cancelled the application immediately - didn't upload anything. £73.00 was deducted from my account. They are now offering me 26.00 back - the rest 'Administration Costs'. I have refused to accept this and have contacted my bank. One of the charges was in relation to Driving Licence ID check - which they didn't even have information for. Please, when you google something never take the top option - they are a bunch of crooks. Shouldn't be allowed to operate. I am hoping my bank will refund me. I have now got the Basic Check that I needed - from a Government website - very quickly and at a cost of £18.00. I have cancelled my bank card and the bank are going to issue a new one for me. Clear Check were also about to help themselves to an £8.00 monthly subscription charge from me - you couldn't make it up!An update on this review: Clearcheck have now refunded me fully - 73.00. Please read the small print on any of these sites or goods/services will cost you far more than you expected it to be. This was a goodwill gesture from them. I was lucky!

WHEN YOU SMELL A RAT AND TRY TO CANCEL THEY LOCK YOU IN WITH THEIR "CLOUD" CONTACT FORM - MEANTIME THEY DEMAND ALL SORTS OF PERSONAL INFORMATION IN ORDER TO EVEN SEND THEM A MESSAGE, AND THEY DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS EVEN IF YOU ATTEMPT TO CANCEL IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT SUBMITTING NECESSARY DOCUMENTS. MY BANK IS AFTER THEM FOR A FULL REFUND. DON'T TOUCH THEM.
