Be wary of buying a car from Clicars! I purchased a car which developed a fault 3 weeks later.I took it to a garage at Clicars request & although what made the car go into limp mode at the time had miraculously vanished, my mechanic gave the car a thorough check, he found the oil level was low & the front brake pad was shot, Clicars claim to give the car you are purchasing a comprehensive check which includes the oil & brake pads, they obviously did not in my case. Now Clicars are ignoring my emails, they have no intention of paying the garage bill. Think twice before you buy from this company,scammers!Since this post, Clicars said they would be in touch but I have heard nothing from them. I have sent several emails with o response & my car broke down again (same problem) on 27th March. Twice in less than 2 months. Clicars have my money so why should they care? They respond to a negative Trustpilot review sending apologies etc but it's all a front.
I recently tried to buy a car from their site,I paid 400 euros to get my car reserved,they put a lot of pression on my shoulders to pay the car faster and after I paid,they said they would send the car tuesday at 17:30 ,tuesday at 12 I got a call from them telling me that they cant send the car because somehow the car have a problem (remind that I paid 400 euros to reserve this car 1 week),now I dont have the car nor the money in my bank account (they were supposed to send my money yesterday)
Ordered and paid for a car 6 weeks ago. was phoned twice yesterday to be told it was being delivered tomorrow. I've booked my flights to go to Spain, booked the insurance, booked the shuttle down to my house and now I have been told that it won't be ready. The Sales man Norburto has been dodging my calls for the last 3 hours. Absolute shambles - stay well clear of this company
When I found the best BMW I could find online and realised it was +500 km away i was reluctant to just buy it and have it delivered, but Clicars put my worries to shame. Everything was totally professional, delivery went fine and car is just as promised. Buying a car online is a bit scarry, but with a safe and trustworthy concept like this I would not hesitate to do it again.
We paid for a a Peugeot 308 and sent all our paperwork. We were told our paperwork was in order and asked to pay the remaining money which we did.Then they told us that our paperwork was not acceptable and there Gestor couldn’t transfer the car into our name. Our abogado has told us that we have sufficient paperwork and he is not sure why they couldn’t transfer the car to us.They have told us that they will return the deposit of 390€ to our credit card. Which I am still waiting to see.I have given them my bank details for my Spanish account and asked them to return the remaining purchase funds. I have asked them to give me a call when they have completed the refund. They will not return my calls and have not made the transfer for the purchase amount as yet.Do not purchase a car from this company as they are not honest.The response that I get is them reviewing their processes? How about transferring our money.
Incredibly misleading website. The prices in bold and on the home page are ONLY if you finance the car. I've never see a company that charges 20% more for actually paying for a vehicle and it's definitely not easy to figure that out until too late. They quickly and easily take 390 Euros to reserve the car on your credit card and if you have any issue - too bad, money gone. That 390 euros doesn't apply to the car price. It's just their takeaway or something. A "deposit" that is just throwing them money isn't a deposit, it's a fee. It should billed as "our fee" and clearly. I've never seen a deposit not deducted from a price of something that you are asking to hold. Meanwhile, since it turned out that the car was 20% more paying with cash I asked to pay that 20% with card and - nope, they somehow don't have the capability to now take the card for that payment. It's all so shady. The people are slow to respond and offer nothing. Honestly all of this makes me very concerned about the car which is going to arrive. I couldn't afford to give up the 390 euros and so I am just going with it. Horrible buying experience.Update: The payment and delivery process was possibly worse than the rest of it. They sent an email with detailed instructions about how to pay and an exact Euro amount "Price of Car plus services". Which in any language would mean that the services I asked to purchase would have been included. I sent a transfer from my bank which cost me transfer fees and then I was told that the number that THEY sent was not correct. That I owed them 100 more euros and that once again, they couldn't take a credit card (Again - it is insane that they take a credit card for the falsely stated "deposit" (Unexplained FEE) and yet they couldn't take a credit card for the 10 Euros.When the driver arrived with the car we were told that the car would not be given to us unless we made the transfer on the spot - for which I now needed to pay a second fee to my bank, however. the driver had no way to get verification of the payment.Meanwhile - when I sent the original payment of 13.000 plus Euros I was told I would get a confirmation which I never got. Still I never got confirmation from this division of the company.THE WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER. More stress based on misrepresentation, plus extra fees I paid to my bank and to them which were completely hidden or their fault. Stay away.You are better off at a used car lot and a local mechanic to check it.
I ASKED THE SALESMAN WHAT WAS THE BALANCE TO PAY I MADE THE PAYMENT AND WAS THEN TOLD I WOULD HAVE TO PAY A FURTHER 1.000 euros AS HE SAID HE MADE A MISTAKE I THEN CANCELED THE ORDER WITHIN THE FIVE DAYS THE SALESMAN HAS SAID I WILL NOT GET BACK MY 390euros SO AT THE MOMENT I HAVE PAID 23..290.00 eros BUT HAVE NO CAR NOR MY MONEY CONCEPT PURCHASE 7948KMP MONEY PAID ON THE 26/04/2022 SALESMANS NAME CARLOS CALLEJA LOPEZ
I left a review on this site on 25 Feb because they sold me a damaged car and are ignoring my complaint. They responded on the site asking me to contact them so they can resolve it. I did this and they still will not respond. They just write responses on this site so it LOOKS LIKE they deal with complaints - Don't be fooled !
I had seen a good car and wanted to buy. The lady I dealt with kept asking for wrong documents and wouldn’t confirm the delivery date. She insisted for me to pay the €400 to reserve the car. So I did and then she promised to send me some additional photos which she never did. Insisted on documents I don’t have as a non-resident and then couldn’t meet the delivery date anymore. I asked to refund the deposit which they actually did after a few weeks. All in all a pity, it was a nice car. Now I bought a similar one, higher price with a dealer, but great customer experience.
