Sales process is designed to keep client paying as much as possible with no flexibility. When you order a plan, let's say for 300 participants and then you scale down your events, you can't scale down your payment plan. You can *somehow* freeze it, but you can't stop it. the only way is to cancel and delete the account with all the data. But when you unfreeze the subscription, you are not allowed to choose the plan size. That's a jerk move. "Just pay us as you started". of course you CAN upgrade, but can't downgrade and there's no monthly reminders that payment is due. Just pay us. A typical polish money-sucking approach to business, arrivederci!
If you understand you need to create an experience online, then the only solution I found is Clickmeeting. And I looked into 76 solutions. Most people do not know what an online experience is, as they have no show production background unfortunately, they also lack the psychology understanding of how online works... so they settle for the ever boring zoom, teams etc. And then they want to make an impact? Showing up doesn't make an impact. Creating a mind blowing visual and interactive experience for your participants does. There's only one software that makes it possible for us. Clickmeeting.
When Covid cancelled our live annual conference and trade show we had to pivot like everyone else. I already had an event app for awards, call for presentations and registration but needed a streaming service that could pretty much do the impossible (as i was told what I was planning had never been done before). So, after a lot of research and trials, we opted for ClickMeeting. Despite the "lousy" reviews about lack of customer service - I felt it was user friendly, the tutorials were very comprehensive and the capabilities were more robust offering pretty much everything we wanted. Now, we aren't done our multi week event yet but we are on track to a pretty perfect execution - every issue has been user error or confusion. The response for tech support or help or any kind of inquiry has been faster than anticipated, with follow up and real people (FANTASTIC even compared to local service providers) so do not believe any negative reviews about lack of customer service. Three things so far re the platform -1) would be good to be able to do custom presenter backgrounds 2) would be nice if it didn't strip animations from ppt and 3) it has a tendency to mess up ppt formatting so a triple check is highly recommended. OVERALL I highly recommend this platform.
I like the power of clickmeeting but find the Ux cumbersome and challenging to use. There has to be a better way to edit presenters and co-hosts in the event details window. I hope in the next release they go to a KISS method for Cx and Ux.
