We've had a generally good experience with ClickMeeting. As webinar software, it's solid and dependable. UI is good and easy to navigate. We've had a few issues with delegates joining, but these are due to our choice of security. I feel that the customisation options on signup/confirmation emails could be better.Recordings, and options for replaying recorded webinars, were our reason for choosing ClickMeeting over other, more expensive competitors. We haven't had many issues to speak of, but if using for sales webinars you might want something that produces slightly slicker-looking joining emails, etc.
The bad outweighs the good.In general, Clickmeeting is a competent webinar platform. The UI is quirky and requires a lot of duplicated effort (for example, the presenter info must be set in three separate places (registration page, agenda, and email template).The underlying tech is brittle, unstable, and old. Over a period of a year, we hosed sessions numbering in the 100s and had several major issues with the platform crashing, presenters getting locked out, sessions hanging, attendees unable to see or hear etc. It just wasn't reliable. Also, the camera feed is low res by modern standards. 1080p is the minimum expectation these days. Despite paying close to $1000/mo for this service, I'm also disappointed on their insistence to watermark recordings. Overall we were disappointed and cannot recommend this platform in good conscience.
ClickMeeting is a great platform if you're new to hosting webinars. It has a good amount of custom settings, without so many that it's overwhelming. After COVID, it's clear that the team is working hard to make improvements. Some items still need to be addressed though, like determination of which fields are required for registration. (ex: "Name" and then "Last Name" is confusing for many registrants)
Clickmeeting is the ONLY webinar or online meeting software that allows you to record and store both types of communications ~ to be used repeatedly over an unlimited amount of time! Amazingly easy to learn and implement! I love it and will continue to use this for seamless, trouble free communication software as it is a very high level, low cost and secure product.
