Review Time
On the surface it looked like windows were ok. Had some fitted march and october last year. However i discovered major errors in two windows that i was having other work on - mullions and lintels. One of the march windows was out by 40mm in height and badly covered up. Facia at top was at an angle instead of straight onto the top as well. Foam filler had only been partly successful and did not cover all area required. The much larger window was more of major error. The six securing screws into the wall- only one managed to go into concrete and the others into the cavity. The big window had poorly applied external filler and the one smaller was forget to be applied at all. Have sent an email with complaint but not responded to and another reminder with similar lack of customer care. I do not know how badly the other windows have been fiited as work was not carried out on them by my builders. On this basis i would not recommend either for window build quality, fitting etc and customer care.
Had the mistake of dealing with this company to do our conservatory!2023!was pushed to write a review while being done which was also a mistake as the work is a mess,they made it worst,contacted them by writing and by telephone no reliable feedback!!waste of money paid!!no apologies it caused a lot of stress to my family!!NOT recommending this at all!!!
Everything about this company is a shambles.Salesman is a very good talker and pushes you to buy on the day, don’t be misled & get other quotes before deciding!!We had problems from the beginning with measurements not being done right Most were wrong sizeOne came with a crack in it; one without glass; bay window not measured correctly and if I hadn’t noticed it they would have fitted it anyway without the proper support.It was only when they sent 2 guys who knew what they were doing was it all corrected but had to withhold payment until all windows & doors fitted properly.I would avoid this company completely because they are not what you expect from a professional company. The price of the service is very high and I believe we could have received a better deal using a different company.
I had 3 windows replaced by this company on 30th May. The largest window was fitted with a broken corner on the opener. They started pushing for payment before the installer had left the premises and before I had opportunity to inspect the installation. During inspection I found the silicone finish on 1 window was poor and while rubbing some of excess off a saw cut was exposed. On another window 1 of the finishing strips was scratched. The broken opener was replaced on 3rd. June. After some wrangling the offending finishing straps were replaced and the offending silicone finish corrected. Before the installers left, I attempted to close and lock the replacement opener and the handle jammed. On inspection it transpired that a metal peg was lying on the bottom channel. The installer thought it must have come off the original.On 14th June my wife attempted to close this window and the handle jammed exactly as before. I reported this to the company and was advised there would be a delay in fixing the issue. I then found that the window was missing a metal peg, presumably the 1 found on 3rd June. I contacted again and was asked if I could send a picture. This I duly did. Yesterday, being concerned that I was unable to properly secure the I phoned in the morning. I was advised that I would be contacted to make arrangements for an engineer to visit. Up 17.15 today I have heard nothing.
Jamie & Stuart came to install our new windows & doors, they worked so hard, never stopped the work from the moment they arrived and until all the work was completed, they fitted 6 windows and 2 exterior doors.Very hard working men. They covered everything up with dust sheets and cleaned up behind them as they went, they left my house clean and tidy. I would highly recommend these guys for all your window, doors etc to be installed by them, very friendly & professional guys, We are absolutely delighted with our install the results are fabulous
Jamie and Stuart turned up on time and did a fantastic job. They replaced 12 windows and 2 doors and the did a first class job. They cleaned up after themselves and were polite and friendly. Efficient and professional service. Would recommend them to anyone.
