We had our installation last Wednesday, delighted with the work carried out, despite being nervous when we saw the reviews, the rep explained what had happened through the conservatory branch last year, and how the windows and doors side of the company was what they were best at. Would highly recommend Jamie and the team to carry out the work, would use again.
Massive shout out to Craig, Alan and Jordan for the amazing job they did installing six new windows for us. It’s the first time we’ve ever had to change our windows and had no idea of the complexity of the work involved. At first everything looked a little scary and messy when they removed the old windows, but the guys grafted nonstop all day and worked extremely well together to achieve a beautiful finish inside my house as well as outside. Our bathroom looks like it’s had a makeover with its smart new surrounds and windowsill. We chose the design everglade for the bathroom glass, and I can honestly say wow!! However, for all our rooms, the fitting, finishing's and seals were all carried out with a high standard of care and workmanship, they also cleaned up every bit of mess before they left.
After a small measurement hitch which was quickly rectified the two boys set about the installation of our front window and back door. Zander & Paul were amazing from start to finish keeping us updated as they went. Constantly cleaning up after them, they were a pleasure to have in my home . Thomas & Kayleigh in the office we’re also very helpful and patient with me when I questioned a few details regarding the installation. Well done CB windows & Doors
I had a visit from Clydebuilt Windows after submitting my details through a Scottish Windows site. I was told I’d been ‘matched’ with them, then got a No Caller ID call the next day saying someone in the area that day.I made it clear I wasn’t looking to make any decisions on the day and was under the impression that the visit was to provide a no-obligation quote. Despite this, the salesman continued to push and push for me to agree to a sale there and then. When I didn’t bite, he called his ‘boss’ on loudspeaker in what felt like a staged conversation, loudly saying I’d regret not going ahead and continued to pressure me with various payment options etc. (based on other reviews, this seems to be a common tactic). I was the told things like “funding is running out in the area” and “this discount is only available today.” There is also no government funding, it’s a sales tactic. It made me uncomfortable and no one should make you feel uncomfortable in your own home. I stood my ground, but I can see how others might feel pressured or even bullied into signing on the spot. There was no option to receive the quote by email, and I never got a booking confirmation or any information prior to the visit, which is odd. The salesman was pleasant enough, but the hard-sell tactics really put me off. An honest, good company wouldn’t need to rely on such tactics.

From start to finish, everyone we have met or spoken to have been courteous, friendly, professional and extremely helpful.Jamie, Kaifer and Joe, the team working on our install, were absolutely fantastic. Really lovely bunch of guys who worked so hard and were professional from start to finish. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this company and their team. They kept mess to a minimum. They cleaned up brilliantly, you wouldn’t know they even been here. Our new windows, doors and French doors look fabulous. We honestly couldn’t be happier. Just a few last minute finishing touches to do on our French doors. They managed to cut through 3 feet of old stone walls in our old farmhouse, (not an easy job for sure). It was a pleasure to have these guys working on our home. So so happy.
We got our whole house redone. Our install was slightly delayed but no big deal. The men who installed were lovely. However, one of the windows badly cracked while they were settling. We called the next morning and we told we would be put through to the remedial team. No one ever called. It took 5 weeks of calling to get a date for someone to come out. This was another two weeks out but at least there was a time scale. On the day no one showed and still no one called. We still have had no communication from them about when this will be fixed.
