In response to a general advert in January about government finance help towards new windows a representative from Clydebuilt Windows and Doors was sent to us. We were very impressed with what we heard and signed up for 5 large windows. Later that evening we realised we had broken a number of our own rules about signing up for any 'big' project so next morning we cancelled. CBWD accepted our reasons and our deposit arrived yesterday on the day as promised. Email and phone communications have all been courteous, professional and efficient. Well done CBWD! DJG. Dundee
I experienced this company under another name as they have numerous times,October 2024 I purchased £4.800 worth of outfits for roofing and in March 2025 I was told they were in liquidation, told I would get my money back in payments if i didn't put anything up on social media, I did put a rant up after 6 months of stress and a break down when not paid, and then was contacted to say I have broken the agreement, ,so i agreed to take it down, I've not received anything from this Clydebuilt Phenix company, who rebuild under the same address and telephone number, this horrible experience happened in October 2024 and still have not received a penny back of my money
Thankyou Shug Brian and Jamie for your very professional and positive attitude throughout the whole installation process and for the continued update of how it was going. Only disappointment is you never got to complete the installation to full satisfaction as some of parts were missing.
I have been asked by TRUSTPILOT to confirm that my reviews are about the same company as CLYDEBUILT WINDOWS & DOORS believe I am referring to a different company. My reviews cover my experience with CLYDEBUILT HOME IMPROVEMENTS that operated out of the same premises as the new company, CLYDEBUILT WINDOWS & DOORS, which uses the same telephone numbers, email address and most importantly is owned by the same person!! That person has liquidated 5 companies to date as stated below, I suspect the same will happen to CLYDEBUILT WINDOWS & DOORS eventually. To confirm my assertion, this was located via GOOGLE:Clydebuilt Windows & Doors and Clydebuilt Home Improvements (often appearing as Clydebuilt Group or Clydebuilt Home Improvements Ltd) are the same company. They operate as a Glasgow-based, Scotland-wide firm specializing in manufacturing, supplying, and fitting PVCu windows, doors, and conservatory roofs. Therefore, I believe I am entitled to leave these reviews until there is a satisfactory resolution to the debts owed to me and others by the owner, bearing in mind there is a voluntary agreement in place to repay the £3000 debt on the basis that the company was recently formed and needed time to establish themselves, this was agreed over 18 months ago. FRAUDSTERS & LIARS - DO NOT TRUST!!BEWARE OF USING THIS COMPANY!!!!We are STILL owed £3000 which was paid as a deposit on a new solid conservatory roof, this was never started, we were given a multitude of excuses for the delay until we found out the company was liquidated.They agreed to a repayment plan, this has never been honoured.The owner is a serial liquidator of companies he owns. I have been contacted by CLYDEBUILT WINDOWS & DOORS via TRUSTPILOT stating they are not related to CLYDEBUILT HOME IMPROVEMENTS and are a separate entity, I find this difficult to understand as they both use the same telephone numbers and a number of the business addresses are the same??As I’ve stated before I’m more than happy to discuss payments to recover monies owed.
