Review Time
I used Compare and Recycle to find a deal for my Samsung S22 Ultra. They led me to a company offering £265, but once my phone was sent, that company tried to slash the offer to £100. After multiple rejections, I settled at £165, feeling I had no choice. Worse yet, two weeks on, I still have no payment and no response. Compare and Recycle should not be promoting such disreputable companies. They need to vet their partners better, or they risk damaging their own trustworthiness... update since leaving the review Compare and Recycle nudged them and they paid up UR are still urine extractors in te way they low ball. Stick to a trustworthy one next time.
It appears these guys recommend crooks on their site. I used these guys 3 weeks ago to find someone to trade in my iPhone 16 pro with. The trade in partner gave me a low ball offer claiming the condition of the phone was not as I had said. Untrue. They made another offer which was too low at which point I simply asked them to return the device. They then stopped responding to emails. I haven’t got my device back, nor any payment. And compare and recycle have been very slow to try and rectify the issue. UPDATE: The 48 hour mark passed yesterday, if as you say this is how long it takes them to respond then this should be settled by now. I have seen other reviews that are only days old suggesting others have had issues with Boost Gadgets as well. Why are you still advertising these crooks on your site?UPDATE 8/1/26: They have now sent me an amount of money for an offer I refused, and have evidence that I refused instead of sending the device back as requested. They are crooks and I will be contacting the police.
My first time of using Compare and Recycle to sell an old iPhone that l had . The entire process was excellent , valuing myself as an important customer, while taking me through the steps in plain , friendly English . 5 stars from me and l’ll be recommending them to friends and family , while looking forward to the fair price offered going in to my bank account .
