I used this website to look at options for selling my IPhone 15 ProMax. The phone is in good condition but knowing how fussy these places are, I rated it as POOR and was still offered £355. I packed it all up and sent it - only to be told it had been rated at Grade E (whatever that means) and the offer reduced to £131?!Poor = £355Grade E = £131Utterly ridiculous. There doesn’t seem to be any alignment between the valuation process used by C & R and the resellers they claim will pay you what they say. What an incredibly tedious process this is and - based on my experience - C & R doesn’t make it any less tedious. Now I’ve got to likely wait another 2 weeks for it to be sent back to me. Reply to the reply - this is such nonsense. It’s a real shame I can’t add photos to this review to show you how untrue their statement is. “Less than Poor” 😂😂😂 truly laughable statement
Great experience actually finding best price but recommended company has still not paid me after 10 working days!!! UR amended my offer from £180 to £100 after saying that my phone had multiple scratches & poor battery life. I was the told I would have to wait 7 working days for payment. It has now been 10 working days & still no payment. I have sent multiple e-mails & have made contact by phone but just keep getting told that there is a delay. I have never had this problem when selling my phone before. You should not be recommending this company.
Had a quote for my phone and accepted as it was flawless. Took ages for the packaging to arrive. I posted back straight away. I then received an email saying they’d checked the device and found scratched and the battery had been charged 3 times more than a phone of that age should have. The price they then offered was significantly lower. I accepted because I couldn’t be bothered. Be careful with this company and don’t expect to be paid what they quote.
I won’t use this site again. I feel really mislead. I was guided to using UR, I’ve left a review for them - really bad experience. UR look like they have a good rating but this is primarily based on people buying from them not selling to them - where they employ very underhand tactics. The comparison site mislead me in my choice because of this and crucially there is no ability to enter battery health information, which was the factor in my offer being reduced. I was unaware of this and it really is too late when a firm has your device. I’ve been made to feel very naive. I don’t change my phone very often, I’ve never experienced something like this before. I’m a genuine, careful owner and expect to be treated with respect and I didn’t get that from UR. I feel the comparison site could have done more to protect me from this, they must know how UR behave - having left a review for them now, it’s apparent.
