No staff appeared, no names were called, no announcements were made, and I received no call or text.At 10:40am, I was told the bus had already departed — without any attempt to locate or notify me. When I called Con-X-Ion to fix their mistake, the staff member was dismissive and hung up on me instead of rebooking me.When a bus finally arrived later, the driver did not announce the destination or call passengers. I only boarded because I personally approached him. Otherwise, I would have been stranded again.This company has no functioning SOPs, no communication, and no professionalism. An airport transfer operator that cannot identify or notify its own passengers deserves a zero-star rating. Avoid entirely.

When I contacted the support team to address their error, the representative was unhelpful and hung up on me instead of assisting with a rebooking. When a bus finally arrived later, the driver did not announce the destination or call for passengers. I managed to board only because I approached him directly. Otherwise, I would have been left behind again. This service lacks proper procedures, communication, and professionalism. An airport transfer operator that fails to identify or notify its own passengers deserves a one-star rating. Steer clear.
⭐️ 1 star – utterly unacceptable serviceCon-X-Ion managed to turn a minor flight delay into a complete travel nightmare. Despite being informed six hours in advance that our flight would be delayed by just 15 minutes, they refused to pick us up. Fifteen minutes. Not hours. Not a cancellation. Fifteen minutes.Apparently, flexibility and basic customer service are not part of their business model.To make matters worse, we were explicitly promised a refund within one week. That promise has now stretched to weeks later, with no refund and no meaningful communication. At this point, it feels less like an oversight and more like deliberate stalling.If you’re considering this company, be warned: if anything deviates even slightly from plan (as flights often do), you may be left stranded and out of pocket. Reliability, accountability, and honesty are the bare minimum for a transport company — and Con-X-Ion failed on all three.I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.
Wow a $118 for one person to get from Southport to Brisbane International. The bus was absolutely packed, I couldn't sit back in my chair, had to sit forward, real comfortable for a 2hr trip, yep 2 hrs. Driver was rude, my things were thrown in back of bus, I had a neck pillow for flight attached to bag, lost in back of bus. Bus was dirty and how did it pass rego?
Bus driver did not collect me. Booked from surfers paradise transit centre. Rang the help desk to ask where to be collected and they didn’t appear to know. We had one person in the transit centre (where the website claims pickup is from) and one person in the road (where they had said pickup was on the phone). We waited in the transit centre for 45 minutes (we arrived 20 minutes before the scheduled window) and the driver did not collect. The driver claimed to have called. The company had the correct phone number because the confirmation text was received. They also had another number from which the help line call was from. The driver did not go to the transit centre to call my name. Instead they picked up from a road near the transit centre. The company needs to include a specific pickup location that is accurate, or they need to pick up from the location that they provide. I would recommend including a star on a map to include a specific pickup location. The pickup is not from the transit centre, it is from a nearby road. Appalling service. I did notice the greyhound bus did arrive and picked up their customers. The tram and train also ran correctly, so perhaps they are better options. Con X ion also did not offer to rectify their mistake. Instead they offered to put me on a bus 2 hours later, which would potentially lead to missing the flight
Clue is in the name 'Con' ! i wish i had read these reviews before we booked, hopefully this will help someone else. We booked a shuttle from Doonan to Brisbane international airport, given instructions to be at the gate 5:15am, no one had turned up by 5:45am so we rang the office, got Nelly who was absolutely no help just kept telling us the time had changed & said it was 5 min away. We rang again at 6am, had a hopeless exchange with someone else and Nelly in the background ranting and raving (very professional). the van turned up eventually at 6:14am driven by David, when we asked (politely) why it was so late he said "not my problem" he was aggressive and nasty and kept wanting to show us his manifest to prove he was right - clearly too thick to realise that his manifest did not help us! I can only conclude it must be an absolutely rubbish company to work for to have such unhelpful people that don't care if their customers have a good experience or not. Mis-communication happens but at least own up and take responsibility for it. would never use again and would actively discourage anyone else from risking their ineptitude.
As with many 'on-line' services - booking and paying is easy and efficient. However, this does is not always reflected in the actual product.My pickup was late at least 10 minutes ouside the requested window - fortunately the weather was mild and dry !The driver did not appear to have good local knowledge - did not follow the most direct route. The scheduled pick up could not be met due to flight delays. The Kiosk was unmanned and an enquiry via the 1300 # resulted in incorrect information - no alternate booking was recorded and the nest shuttle was fully booked. fortunately ther were 2 no shows and seats for myself and another stranded passenger. were accommodated. The seating space was inadeqate for the 4 adults squeezed into the rear seat ! The driver was helpful and did his best to smoth ruffled feathers . Vehicle assignment should allow for contingencies - allow at leat 10% spare space. Kev Maroochydore
Their customer service is pathetic. They recommend a service, collect your flight details and then cant even be bothered to see your flight was delayed. I was 2 mins late and the bus had already left. A phone call and they could have easily waited 2 mins
