Cophall Parking is nowhere near as good as other Gatwick Carparks. Firstly despite the fact the bus was already at Cophall it took half an hour to leave for airport, we had zero time for breakfast. On returning the employee was ridiculously hard to understand due to foreign accent (others also said this) and then the bus took over 40 minutes to pick us up. Utterly appalling. I'll use Purple again, but not Cophall, ridiculously expensive for pretty awful service. Incidentally discounts for repeat users should reflect the loyalty, the discounts currently offered are pathetic and deceptive because "up to 75%" nearly always means 10% off
Absolute terrible service,will never use again. Phoned as soon as I was through customs as instructed. Walked down to bus stop 6 as instructed. Waited for 40 mins 3 Purple parking buses and 3 APH buses came an went, no sign of Cophall. Called again to be told they run every 20 mins. Lies!!! Eventually the bus arrived, but by now there were enough people to fill it. Queuing at reception another long wait to be gruffly told A10 by a very happy soul,no further instructions given. Got to exit barrier, could not get out, until young lady in car behind told me I needed the code, as luck would have it she was informed of the code. Absolute terrible service run by cowboys. You have been warned.
The trip to the airport on the day of departure was fine, as it always had been in the past. Unfortunately the same can't be said for the trip back to my car!! I called Cophall when i landed and went to the bus stop. I waited 45 minutes for the bus. 3 or 4 APH and Purple Parking buses came and went but no Cophall/Maple Parking. When one did finally arrive it was already quite busy but I found a seat. Then the passengers and luggage just kept piling on and on.... the bus driver allowed the bus to be dangerously overcrowded and luggage just piled up and up. If there had been an accident we couldn't have got out!!! Ridiculous. I've used Cophall Parking for years and they have previously been good, not now though. They have slowly gone downhill and I will be looking for a more competent company next time.
You left me 2 small children & my disabled mother outside Gatwick for an 50minutes in the freezing cold and when I called said it was 5minutes away & hung up on me!When i called back you told me 3 busses had been and i had missed them all. Complete rubbish! I've used you 6+ times. Absolutely disgraceful! You need to train your staff
