Paid £2 cancellation cover which now they have ignored as well as emails sent. Now they refuse to give a refund only credit note , they told me were not operating past 2021 stay clear of this company there are better companies arround
WITHOUT DUE PREJUIDCEOn the 3rd of March 2020 I booked an 8 day slot with this company for the end of May 2020 and due to the UK lockdown starting on the 23rd of March 2020 and U.I.A airlines grounding their fleet on the 17th of April 2022 as Ukraine completely sealed their borders. I cancelled my booking and asked for a refund, on the 29th of April 2020 I got an email confirming cancellation which also stated, only credit notes for future use would be issues, no mention of only being for a 12 month time span. Yet the rest of the travel industry were offering either open ended credit nots or vouchers or full refunds whichever customers preferred even though there would be a delay in the excessive number of refund requests being processed.During 2020 I repeatedly chased this company for a refund, explaining that a credit note was of no interest or indeed use to me going forward, as my only option would be to cover the journey by road a mere 36 hours each way! due to the uncertain state of airline operations and the never ending government changes at last minute.com style of flights being banned from selected countries.Finally on the 3rd of October after chasing them yet again, the reply this time was mainly full of the excuses about covid- 19 and lack of staff, I wonder what made them think the rest of the UK workforce was not affected by the restrictions then?? and could I bear with them as I was in the list for a refund.On the 3rd of January this having got fed up of waiting i contacted with only to get a rapid reply saying they were still trading but had gone into administration with an attached copy of the administrators letter and details, which states all customer's who paid by credit card should contact their card provider immediately as the administrators would only issue credit notes. They knew well in advance that credit card companies will not try to clawback payments as the offer of a credit note has been made.. This company entered administration on the 2nd of November yet they chose not to advise any of the existing customers.Since then I have done some checking at companies house, which shows the parent company Park First have a long track record going of putting their trading brands into administration after a few years of trading, then changing the name and starting off again using the same company registration number and simply completing a change of trading name form. In fact the Cophall brand name and logo, stationary, liveried minibuses had been in use since at least mid 2018 while the details logged at companies house where for another company called Help Me Park also owned by Park First at the same site as Cophall, were put into administration on the 17th July 2020, two days later Cophall's name was officially changed, interestingly in very single case it is always the same administrators used. The F.O.S described their operation as unethical especially as on the Cophall Parking web site they have hidden the fact they are in administration at the very bottom of the booking page in very small print.So use this company at your peril
I found the service great, you call for them to pick you up and they arrive in 12mins, no waiting for a shuttle bus, all very smooth. However, a lot of the reviews note refund issues, which i cannot comment on. If not cancelling - i think the service is great!
We have been using Cophall Parking for years and would call ourselves loyal customers. However their policy regarding refunds during this Pandemic is atrocious. We have been waiting over 4 weeks so far and just get the automated messages when we try and contact them. They are probably using customers money to help their own cash flow but it is unacceptable. It is now unlikely we will use them again.
I booked for our airport parking with Cophall specifically due to the free cancellation and refund policy stated all over their website. Have cancelled today and requested a refund due to issues around covid-19. Only to be told they have issued a credit note! I was told I could request a full refund but this would take a long time. I requested the full refund and asked how long this would take only to be told it would take 4-6 weeks!!I understand the current issues the industry faces, however do not advertise for free cancellation and refund without warning others how long they may wait for a refund as this is misleading for others booking specifically with hopes of easy cancellation and refund, if unable to go!!
As with most companies, COVID-19 has hit many people hard. What I don’t expect is a company/service to be rewarded for misleading their customers.Booked for the 1st May, contacted CP at the start of April and was told I’d receive a refund (still have the email). Date for holiday passed and emailed again to receive automated message, stating vouchers would be offered. Using my bank to get money back and would advise others to do the same.I’m an existing customer who would say the service is acceptable at best but warn people there are better places to park your vehicle.
NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!! When we arrived back to Gatwick Airport a few days early to collect our car, we telephoned Cophall Parking (as instructed by them) and were told that they had cancelled their bus shuttle service and that if we were quick, we could make our own way to their car park and collect our car. This cost us £17 for a taxi which was NOT refunded by Cophall Parking. They were about to close business for an unknown period of time, leaving other customers locked out from collecting their cars when they eventually arrived back to the UK. What a SHAMBLES!!! What an UNPROFESSIONAL way to run a business. We hope the COVID problem makes them bankrupt and that they close down for good, so that other customers don't suffer like we and other customers did. NEVER AGAIN with Cophall Parking!!!!!!!!!!
This company are refusing to issue refunds due to COVID-19. Their response is to 'contact your insurers'.For a company that had £255k cash in the bank in 2018, this is an unforgivable stance.It's times like these we learn who the money-grabbing charlatans are.I will never book with this company again, and I will advise as many people as possible to avoid this company at all costs in the future.
