Recently used Cophall park and ride services at Gatwick.Easy to book on line.Great feedback after booking with all the information we requested.Easy to find,check in and park up.Fast Promt service via the bus journey into Gatwick Airport.Same returning from our holidays Rung to say we were back, bus came to collect us promptly to take us back to their park.Faultless service Would use them again without hesitation should we need to fly from Gatwick again (as we live up north).Highly recommended company. 10 out of 10.
Bus came to pick us from south terminal 46 minutes after the first call (made after collecting luggage).Rang again after 20 minutes and they told us that the bus was on the way. Whrn called again after another 15 minutes, they told us that bus had just left so they told a lie previously.It's definitely not what we expected after 5 hrs flight at 4 am.While we were waiting 2 APH and 2 MAPLE buses passed.
After waiting over half an hour for our pick up at 2am we came back to a car covered in bird poop and mud. The drivers side floor mat had muddy boot prints too.Tried washing the car the next day but the paints clear coat is marked in several places from the acidity of the bird poop.
Cophall Parking Gatwick is the worst parking company I have ever used. I waited on the cold floor in Gatwick for over 6 hours with my 6 year old daughter only to find our flight was cancelled. It was so cold that I thought I would take my daughter home to have a rest while we waited to see when our next flight out would be. When I returned to Cophall Parking Gatwick, the woman at the front desk named Carley said that if I took my car out, I would need to book again on a new booking and pay again. This confused me because I had already booked my car to be there for 10 days. I begged Carley to let me take my car out, even showing her that my child was freezing and that I did not have enough jumpers. However, Carley's cold, heartless heart refused. She was more willing for me to go back to sleep on the airport floor than to let me take my car out without paying again. The only person who helped me was the shuttle bus driver, Claude. He was kind and understanding, and he helped me get my car out of the parking lot. The shuttle bus driver, Claude, tried to reason with Carley, but she refused to listen. He then called the general manager, who rectified the situation and allowed me to take my car out without paying again. I am grateful to Claude and the general manager for their help, but I am still appalled by Carley's behavior. She is not fit to be in a customer-facing role. She is heartless and cruel, and she caused me and my daughter a great deal of unnecessary stress. I will never use Cophall Parking Gatwick again if that woman is still there after this holiday. I thank God for sending the Guardian Angel Claude. Because honestly I didn’t know what to to. The fact that he stood up for us and called his manager to help us. I could not be more grateful. Claude you are a true credit to humanity, may God bless you and your family and also the amazing general manager. It is now 11.30pm I could have been home at 9pm but due to Carley all this added delay I’m exhausted.
When I booked the company sent an email that said:"Park your car and ride on one of our modern eight-seater minibuses between our Gatwick car park facility and your terminal. No waiting around for the next scheduled airport bus!" The reality was that we waited approx. 30mins on both legs of the journey. No explanation or apology from the staff. The buses are full sized, not an 8 seater minibus. The journey was via the other terminal at Gatwick to drop off and collect people. Their promise that there would be "No waiting around for the next scheduled airport bus!" was simply a lie. This was not the service we received. Do not use this company - they could cause you to miss your flight.
Used before several years ago, easy to check in, they have an undercover waiting area and drop off at the airport was absolutely fine. However, it was 1:00 am when we were finally picked up after waiting for nearly 50 minutes (we watched four buses come and go for each of the other car parks at the same stand!) - this is the longest I’ve ever waited for offsite airport parking. Maybe they could advertise the buses to come at specific times past the hour, every hour, during busy periods so people can choose to wait inside the terminal if they wish.
The service deserves zero rating. Pick up from the airport runs every 45-60 min. Therefore not recommended. You would not want to wait an hour to get to your car especially after landing from a long flight. Dis honest business. Avoid at every cost.
We used this service for the first time this afternoon and are delighted with service. Boarding the bus the driver went out of his way to help get the luggage aboard and stored safely; on arrival at North Terminal he took luggage off without being asked. He also happily directed us to our hotel. Whilst onboard, my husband discovered he’d left his mobile phone in the car - immediately rang the office and the phone was sent on the next bus much to our relief. I am very happy to commend this company who clearly demonstrated positive customer experiences
