Run, don't walk away from this company. My experience as a teacher was that you are only used to bring in new students and if you are not successful in your first 3 attempts, you are terminated. The "mentors" are only there to judge your performance and the salespeople are judging you as well. It's stressful and I'm not confident that they care about the students or the teachers
As an adult ESL learner, I have been using the Cosmo App for about a year now and have completed nearly 40 classes. I am extremely satisfied with my progress and the high quality of instruction. The core strength of the program lies in its dedicated teaching staff.I want to give a special shout-out to my favorite teacher, Mr. Jonathan. He is incredibly patient and always takes the time to explain things clearly. Through his ELA-focused lessons, which often dive into novels and poems, I realized that true language mastery is not about counting words or chasing scores. It is the ability to hear a joke and laugh, to read a book and get lost, to speak one's feelings, and to pen one's thoughts.
Really great program! The teachers are patient, dedicated and the app is very easy to use, with lots of fun, interactive tools. Scheduling is very flexible and we have a dedicated rep who takes great care of us. Overall great way for my daughter to solidify what she learned in class.
I’m a 30-year veteran teacher and tutor. After a bout with Celiac disease and Pancreatitis I decided to enter the education system again. I have high reviews & am Montessori trained & have many, many years experience as an ESL & Special Ed teacher too. The job description of Cosmo does not state that you have to be a Harvard or Stanford graduate, but apparently after looking into the matter, I discovered Cosmo only hires 1% of all applicants & that they are Harvard & Stanford educated. This is discrimination. Pit me up with one of your Harvard tutors any day & I am sure I will do just as good as a job as they. I may consult a lawyer.
I am very interested in this for my daughter but the education advisor Edward Liu keeps calling, texting and emailing me nonstop. After I told him I would get back to him he's calling my phone all day late hours, on Sundays and it's annoying. I blocked his numbers guess what he emailed me after I mentioned several times he keeps messaging and calling, now he's emailing me. Unless I get someone else I don't want to sign up. He has no boundaries, overwhelming me and forcing me to decide by sending 60 minutes discount links one after the next yet claiming his manager gave him the authorization to extend the discount.
We saw an add on FB and thought of trying out a trial class and get to know about the payment structure for our kid. However upon review we found the fees were too high for us to afford and we did let them know. We again received a call after around 3 weeks and and the agent who herself was having an accent just kept pushing for their class and telling how other online classes are not as helpful. I believe they need to respect our decision and leave us alone once we have respectfully given our decision. I am writing this review because I am really frustrated with the call.
