I would give this company a zero if I could. I purchased a subscription to Down the Rabbit hole box. I got my first box, but have not gotten any further boxes. When I attempted to contact the seller I get no reply. On contacting Cratejoy I was told they would contact the seller and so far nothing. I plan to report them to the Better Business Bureau if I don’t hear anything in the next few days. What a scam- I wished I would have researched them better before purchasing this subscription box.
This needs to be investigated and shut down. There is no way to cancel subscriptions through sellers. The seller directs you to email them or cancel through Cratejoy, however when you go to the Cratejoy site to cancel, no subscriptions are listed to even cancel. Next thing you know you have big charge for a subscription you didn't want. Don't do it. Not to mention- what was originally bought as a trial was not worth it at all!!! UPDATE:To be fair to seller even though not mentioned I was able to contact them and did get a full refund and cancellation of the item. However, I still maintain that Cratejoy, as a market platform, absolutely should not exist.

I paid for a six month subscription and am now out $300.00+ I have contacted Cratejoy about this, and was told to contact the seller about the problem. I have contacted the seller several times, and never received a reply from them. Of course, the cost of the subscription has already been charged and paid from my bank account. I am not sure what to do next. I suppose I could ask for a refund, but I would rather have my subscription. Please advise. I have other subscriptions from Cratejoy with no problem, but this DTRH subscription seems like a scam, especially since it is so expensive and I have paid in full ($300.00+) up front. I would caution others not to buy this subscription. It is a rip-off.

In using their "contact seller" process, I never got a response from the seller. I finally requested a refund. Cratejoy gave me the refund, but shorted me 2 months. At that time Cratejoy basically said argue it with my bank. Really? I sent the complaint to BBB and they ignored them as well. You can see Cratejoy as a company doesn't care about their consumer. They play the 3rd party innocence and collect money from all. As the middleman in this relationship they should take ownership of their sellers. If you get a good seller shouldn't be a problem. You get a seller who doesn't care, Good Luck!

I received the "let's paint together" subscription as a gift. Every month there is an issue. The first month I had to email Cratejoy for instructions to find the tutorial for my stamped tote bag. Not exactly painting in my book but it was cute. Your box isn't shipped from Cratejoy, it comes from Pop Shop America. Had a 2 month gap before the next box arrived. "Thank you for your patience while we were moving". Third box, no tutorial posted until 3 days after the box arrived and I had emailed about it. Auto reply to emaillsays they will answer within 24 hours. Nope. No reply to my email, but they did post a very short tutorial. Sentences like "mix to a nice consistency" are not very helpful. Over two weeks ago I received the "your package has shipped email", but my package wasn't received by the USPS shipping site until after I emailed about it, again with no email reply. I received the 4th box today. Guess what...there's no tutorial.

Ordered Throttle box for my son for Christmas paid $157.00 for 3 months and only received one box I have contacted the seller and Cratejoy and nothing has been resolved I received an email saying they saw I didn’t receive my boxes but they closed the ticket anyhow!! Seller won’t even respond to my messages Very dissatisfied!! Don’t buy it’s a scam!
