I've been a customer of the service for many years. They recently worked on my boiler and discovered a fault that required it to be turned off. Fortunately, they repaired it on the same day, but I believe the repair charge of £300 for two hours of work reflects an overly high hourly rate of £150, particularly since it occurred during regular working hours.

I called the service based on a recommendation and was delighted with my choice. Our boiler had stopped working, and they responded quickly to repair it. Two weeks later, they returned to service the boiler, change some pipework, and install a filter. The engineer was friendly, polite, and tidy, explaining everything he was doing. I will definitely continue using this service. Thank you!
The engineer arrived at 12:17 PM and left at 12:48 PM (as recorded). We were billed £171 including VAT for just 31 minutes of work, which amounts to nearly £340 per hour. While I understand the expertise involved, I find this pricing to be excessive. As loyal customers, we feel the costs have risen to a level that is nearly unaffordable. Additionally, we've always paid promptly but have never been offered an extension on payment terms, perhaps to seven days?
I expected the same engineer who diagnosed the issue, but a different one arrived, which didn't make sense since the original engineer knew the setup well. I was surprised that hot water was not checked in the shower and kitchen. I discovered two damp plastic sacks in the bathroom afterward. I anticipated paying the engineer, but he mentioned that the service would send an invoice instead. I hope everything is in order, as my boiler is in the loft and I haven't checked it.
