Review Time
I ordered an Oura ring sizing kit with view to purchasing one. As per Curry's website once you order the sizing kit you receive a £10 voucher to put towards the cost of purchasing a ring. I received this voucher but the website would not accept the code, I tried this multiple times over 24 hours following the instructions but it would not work. I went onto live chat and after a long wait I was told that I would need to be put through to a video call sales support, I have no headset with microphone to do this, so I left it.I have tried again this morning with no luck, unable to get an agent on live chat and gave up after 22 minutes on hold to the support line. Frustrated customer here as I have lost £10 due to Curry's incompetence, wish now that I purchased it elsewhere.
The sales staff in store were very good but there was a problem with installation.The delivery man said he couldn’t get the washing machine plug through the existing hole in the cabinet so I would get a refund for the installation fee I paid. He left the machine connected with my extension socket and left leaving the cable laying over the work surface next to the sink. As he left he said I wouldn’t get a refund as he had connected the water pipe, though he hadn’t connected the power cable properly. After they left my neighbour helped me connect it properly. The cable did go through the cabinet once the water pipe was disconnected and the pipe was then re fitted. The shop staff were very good where I bought the machine but the installation was not done properly.I have tried to contact Curry’s but didn’t find the chat bot any use at all. I suggest:Installation staff need more training and contacting customer service should be made much easier.
