Great buying experience

I had been looking for a replacement car since mine unfortunately got written off. Dace Motor Group and sales rep Ryan were a breath of fresh air in an industry that can be fraught with less reputable dealers and garages. From start to finish the process of buying the car was easy, welcoming, friendly and in no way pushy. They were accommodating and even did some extra work that was required to get the car up to a satisfactory standard for the customer. I'd highly recommend and next time I need a used car I'll be coming here first!

Lewis Worthington was brilliant

Lewis Worthington was brilliant. He actively listened to what we wanted. I am time poor, working 50 hour weeks, sometimes abroad at clients, and he was patient and liaised with my son to ensure we got the car that we needed. Very professional, very polite, very informed. Communicates well. Not a pushy salesman. The car purchased was just what we needed. On purchasing the car, Lewis went above and beyond, voluntarily coming in on his holiday (unpaid) to ensure that we were well taken care of until the very end. I've had the best ever experience in buying my Mercedes E-Class. Lewis was my Sales Executive who was excellent from first contact, right through the process, regular updates on my car preparation and even after I picked up the keys and drove off. Speedy service

Speedy service, after having a newborn. A bigger car was a necessity, found the car online and manage to view it within 30 minutes. Dealt with the salesman Mike who was top notch and got the deal done within 20 minutes. Well looked after as part of the deal with new service and MOT, as well as a fair value for trade in on my current vehicle. I knew what I wanted going into the dealership and Mike just made the process smooth. Now I know this dealership is here, I will be returning in future for my new car as they have a vast range of well priced quality cars. Cheers Mike

Issues with car purchase

From the point of sale the vehicle GLC 220 4matic has not been of satisfactory quality, nor has it matched what was agreed upon. The driver's seat was supposed to be repaired before collection; instead, it was only glued and split again after a few days. Furthermore, we discovered a split lower arm ball joint (even though they claimed to perform a 56-point car check and provided a fresh MOT), which is a serious mechanical fault. The vehicle was returned on 10/11/2025 for these issues to be properly rectified.When the vehicle was collected on 18/11/2025, the driver's seat remained unfixed. I was also told that a mobile technician would contact me on 19/11/2025, yet no one called. After reporting additional faults—including noise from the brake pedal and an air-leak noise from the brake cylinder—I was repeatedly told that someone would call me back. No call was ever received. When we attempted to resolve these matters again on 20/11/2025, our concerns were dismissed, and the phone call was abruptly ended.I sent an email stating that I wanted to return the car and receive a full refund, but nobody has replied, and I had to open a case with the ombudsman. It is still ongoing; let's see where this leads. An update will follow. We chose Dace because they had 4.8-star reviews, but unfortunately, that was not our experience.
