Love these frames! They are made of real wood and crafted with care. All the hardware you need is included to secure your canvas to the frame as well as to hang on the wall. I had a bad experience with another frame company that claimed its frames were wood but turned out to be a brittle cheap composite under the veneer that break if dropped. I won't use anyone else now. I bought a black frame and it has what appears to be Sharpie marker visible on the front (can happily provide photos) at the corners. It’s sort of subtle but decidedly not a professional finish.

Also, unless I have completely misunderstood something, the hardware provided to attach the canvas seems to be the wrong size. The offset clips are too short to lie flat against the back of the frame and the canvas at the same time. It’s not a problem with the rabbet depth for the canvas, the “bottom frame step” as described in the instructions is slightly taller than the offset clips that are meant to sit on top of it. Again, happy to provide photos of the gap.

I received my custom frame and was so happy with it. But after I put in my artwork and was ready to hang the frame on the wall, I realized there was a small crack in the acrylic glass. I contacted customer support, assuming it'd be in vain, and they immediately told me they'd send a replacement. (I thought they would just send me a new acrylic face for the frame, but they replaced the entire order.) I was so surprised and pleased that I will definitely be using this company again.

Extremely disappointing experience.

My experience was incredibly frustrating. The picture frame took two weeks to arrive, and when I reached out to customer service for a simple customization I was willing to pay for, they were unhelpful, which should have raised concerns. Upon arrival, the non-reflective plexiglass was actually very reflective and cloudy, not at all what I expected based on their claims. The frame was unassembled, and despite my best efforts to adjust it, the corners didn’t fit together properly. Additionally, the plexiglass had cracks on the sides. When I tried to fit everything into the frame, it was so loose that moisture and dirt could easily get inside. Overall, the quality was no better than a $15 frame from another platform, and the main difference was that I had to assemble this one myself. This product is truly disappointing, and I question how they manage to have such positive reviews when my experience was so negative. I would advise against purchasing from this company.

Instructions and details were poor.

I purchased two 24 x 36 frames. They were easy to buy and arrived quickly. I have never framed much on my own and I felt good about this company. However, while the purchase and shipping were easy the only thing I can say about putting the frame together is that the instructions are lacking greatly. While they tried to make their instructions simple, there wasn't enough thought put into any questions I might have had as someone who had never done framing before. I keep thinking a video would have made this so much easier and there was nothing for me to lean on. In the age of YouTube why don't they just do a video. Even when it came to putting the wire on I had to find a video to understand how much wire to use, how to tie it etc. It was those kinds of directions which were lacking. All the way through the process I was left wanting for a picture of how to do it. Also, it would have been nice to have just a couple of extra screws in the packet I got. I am missing one and will have to send them a email to get it. A little more attention to detail on the part of pictureframes.com would have been very helpful. I will be ordering from someone else next time.
