I went to wexford town shop yesterday afternoon and went to pay for my items but 6 / 7 young teangers were all huddling around in a group so I asked one can I get past and moved out of my way there was no body in front of them when I went to pass and go to pay I was told my the staff member that was standing there to go to the back of the queue and then asked me if I was paying cash or card and told me to go to the self service till?As I am disabled and have to use a stick to walk with it was very badly treated by this person .It seems to me that this shop has no help for elderly people And not AGE friendly policy in place Very dissatisfied with this shop and the staff member that spoke with me
Dealz on Liffey street is just a brilliant shop, great prices, one of my bulbs went in my bathroom & light bulbs are definitely not the same when I grew up, but I was so happy to walk into dealz & they had it, they sell everything & at such a brilliant price!!!!
I recently visited Dealz in Blackpool Cork and I have to say I left disgusted and very angry and frustrated by the particular young girl staff that I thought could help me because the self service machine needed clearance to buy a can of monster drink I had I packet of sweets and noticed a packet of sweets that they were selling off at 20c so I decided to take one but again the self service machine tried to charge 75c so I had to get the girl to sort it again she did and left me but then the machine spat out 15 ×1c coins n change so I went to the counter to change it over I said to the girl that I had dealt with what had happened with the 1c coins she then snapped and said "you have to say it to the manager I can't do anything for you" it wasn't so much what she said but the way she took me and in front of customers so I said can you get a manager so to which she pointed to the counter two feet away where there was a manager and said "that's him" I responded sarcastically I admit with "that's great customer service" to which she proceeded to tell me and anyone that would listen that I have an attitude problem because I first said to just take away the 20c sweets as I didn't really want them I only took them coz they were 20c and from there she took a disliking to me ...I would like to add that I have been in management myself for over 30 years in fact I'm actually working around the corner from Dealz and I would never treat customers even the awkward ones like I was treated and to be honest as a 50 year old old man I felt embarrassed in the shop by the way I was treated and spoken to by this young girl...I have never written any type of complaint before on paper or online but I just felt I had to tell someone because I certainly got no satisfaction from the manager who obviously could hear and see what was going on but chose to say nothing ..in the end I approached him and calmly handed back my products and asked for a refund and he was actually short changing himself by 40c untill I pointed out that he was refunding me too much .I genuinely think the manager was slightly taken aback because he did seem to be having a good repour with the customers and was very pollite and had no problem refunding me he seemed like a nice guy but needless to say I will never again shop in that or any other dealz again

Bought two 180g Cadbury Crunchie Bits bars in the Cork store today. Advertised on-shelf at €3.50 each or two for €5.00. At the till I was charged €7.00. When I brought it to the cashier’s attention she called the manager/supervisor who told me the offer sticker was for a different, smaller pack of Crunchies. After I made my purchase I went back and photographed the sticker (180g Crunchie Bits €3.50 each or 2 for €5 – on the shelf with the 180g bars and nowhere near any other Crunchies). I showed the photo to the same manager/supervisor and was told it’s “not my problem, I don’t look after the pricing and I’m up the walls today”. Avoid this place.
