Dealz store in Artane on Friday, 6 March 2025, around 5:00 pm. I had a very disappointing customer service experience.
After completing my purchase at the self-service cashier and paying with €50 notes, I received €20 notes as part of my change. I politely asked a staff member if they could exchange the €20 notes for €5 notes, but I was told this was not allowed. I then asked to speak with the manager.
The manager, whose name tag identified her as Lucy, told me that the cashier box would need to be opened in order to make any change. I suggested returning a few items and exchanging them for others so the cashier would need to be opened and the change could be made. At first she refused and seemed distracted because she was chatting on her phone with someone called Aaron. After I insisted, she eventually agreed to process the exchange.
However, once the transaction was completed, she refused to exchange the two €20 notes that I had originally received from the self-service cashier. Instead, she only gave me one €10 note and two €5 notes.
The overall customer service experience was terrible. I am a frequent customer of this shop, but this is the first time I have felt so badly treated. Another customer even approached me during the situation to express support and said that the manager’s behaviour was unacceptable.

Been to Dealz in Roscommon a few times and find the staff so friendly and helpfull especially a young guy called Adam. He is often on the tills and has such a great personality and is so nice to both young and old alike, he will always chat to you and have a laugh, everyone walks out of the store smiling. The prices are great too. Well done Dealz in Roscommon and especially Adam! 🤩
Dealz is just AMAZING!I love going in there before the cinema and a few days ago I did this,I got three share bags of sweets and the total came to €5.oo!It's so cheap and amazing!I love the variety in the shop there is sweets,clothes,cosmetics,hygiene products,little trinkets and sooo much more.Dont even get me started on how nice the workers are.I highly recommend!FIVE STARS 🌟
I purchased 2 Vacuum magnetic suction brackets for a mobile phone to hold in a car. They will return the product if it is damaged or broken. They will not return the product if: You change your mind, it is incorrect usage of the product, product no longer needed, situations where the product functions correctly but because of personal setup, environment or lack of suitable installation space. does not work with your phone. I would read the return notice before purchasing any of their products. Best to buy from Amazon.
Online order. Fan arrived smashed and cracked. Was packaged without any safety packaging i.e bubble wrap, foam. Item is also very cheap flimsy quality so not surprised it's damaged. Been back and forth with seller communication, bad unhelpful customer service absolutely no interest in being good guys. Wish I'd seen all reviews, it's happened to others! Look at breakages in reviews on amazon. AVOID THIS SELLER. Thanks
