Avoid at all costs!All is fine when they are taking your money, but as soon as something goes wrong, they just bury their heads in the sand and feed you lie after lie or just plain ignore you.I was a Premium Member which was meant to come with 'Priority Customer Service'. My box failed to be delivered in August 2025, and I was told on 2 occasions that it would be back out for delivery in 4-6 working days and I should look out for notification from their courier.This never happened.When I escalated the complaint - emailing on 4 separate occasions to give them a chance to resolve the issue, they just ignored my emails - I only got an automated response.Their lack of customer care is mind boggling - they are fraudsters and should be avoided at all costs.
I’ve purchased their advent calendar for the past two years and absolutely love it! The 2024 calendar was a bit similar in contents to the 2023 one, so I’m hoping the 2025 edition will bring some fresh surprises. That said, I truly enjoy the daily excitement of opening each window to see what’s inside. It makes a wonderful Christmas gift for someone special—or, like I do, a lovely treat just for yourself.
I was supposed to have a welcome back box and additional free box both never arrived and the next box had items missing to the value of £8 after 2 months I have managed to get a refund for the price of one box. Customer service is shocking,no one answers a phone and they take 10 days to answer an email and even if you reply straightaway it takes another 10 days. Not worth wasting your money.
My first box was great but didn't get any free gifts like others got in their first box.I am looking forwards to this month's box.I have also ordered the advent calendar and if I like it I will order each year.I would like to know when they deliver the advent calendar though as I can't find the date on the website.
Degusta sent me an email offering three months of free boxes. I accepted. I received every box on time without issue, unlike my painful, paid-for experience with Snackverse. They then offered me a fourth box for £9.99, which I received today, again without issue. My experience so far is this company does what it says it will do, doesn’t make stupid mistakes and provides good products to try. My partner and I have enjoyed/used most of them, a couple of products passed on. I’ll probably subscribe now on the basis of a tried and tested service that doesn’t give me a headache. I look forward to receiving their boxes of yummy and often healthy/low fat/low sugar products.
I cancelled my Degusta Box subscription and received automated confirmation. After they wrongly charged me, I contacted them and they issued a partial refund — and confirmed that my account was now cancelled and no further charges would be taken.Despite this, they charged me again weeks later, after confirming cancellation.Now they’ve changed their story and claim my account was never cancelled, despite email proof to the contrary. This is either deliberate or grossly negligent.Repeated unauthorised billing, contradictory customer service, and no ownership of the problem. I’ve now had to escalate via my bank, Resolver UK, and Trading Standards.Avoid — this company does not handle cancellations or customer trust properly.
