Service feels disorganized

The service appears to be poorly managed. Riders struggle to follow maps and cannot take directions over the phone. I've had enough of this experience; restaurants and supermarkets should reconsider their partnerships with this platform.

Cancellation request denied

I requested to cancel my order as soon as a key item was removed, but the agent refused, claiming it was in transit. Despite my vulnerability and the situation, I was misled about being charged regardless of delivery refusal. The agent ended the chat abruptly, leaving me with an unwanted order. This is not customer service; it's simply obstructive behavior.

Items damaged due to poor packaging

Poor packaging led to my food being dropped outside my home, resulting in damages. Despite my requests for a refund, none was issued because I don't have a photo of the incident. The customer service has been terrible.

Do not order a delivered take-away meal

Ordered £18 worth of delivered "take away" food. Took so long to get to me it was cold and inedible. They offered a £1.84 credit in compensation. All email communications result in a noreply email response.

I ordered from them and had some problems with my order one being the Brussel Sprouts smelling and tasting like smoke yet they will not even refund they say its the restaurants fault yes it might be but they should at least refund me for them.

Zero, not even one star.

Not even one star. On several occasions I have received notifications offering £10 off at Coop. Despite adherence to T&C's both occasions I received nothing. I raised this directly with deliveroo and their response was because I couldn't show them the notification offer that they sent me they couldn't do anything. They also did not answer when I asked "surely you know what offers you have sent to a customer". I am uninstalling the app, because this is just a decietful way of getting people to buy thinking they are saving. Shame on them, they know people are struggling!!! Especially those who need to use a delivery service, it costs more. They have just lost a customer over principle and £10. Shame that has actually cost them several thousand annually. Savage 😱

The Supermarket replaced Medication for…

The Supermarket replaced Medication for 12+ with an Adult Only Product and due to the delay in someone joining live chat to cancel the order it was dispatched. I was told I have to have the delivery. There was no provision just to accept the other items, and the replacement product was not needed, and not a like for like replacement. They also replaced Asian Salt and Pepper Pork Belly with British Pork Mince, what again is not like for like.

Placed an order

Placed an order, never arrived. Been 24 hours and the order still shows as “on its way” customer service chat is down. No responses. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, now I am very happy that I cancelled my diamond plus subscription This is terrible. Deliveroo used to be very customer centric now since it got acquired is absolutely awful.
