Tried for bitGot up to spending £100ish a monthOrdered takeaway for £16 from a place I normally get delivered direct. Food looks like it was cooked 30 min before driver collected then Deliveroo driver drove around all over place for another half hour, food stone cold. Offered me 25% refund. Closed account - will go back to dealing direct
Ordered from Maccies, 2 kids meals, 2 adult meals and mcflurrys.Driver arrived and the bag with drinks in was leaking out. Unfortunately he spoke no English but seemed he was trying to explain he will go back and change them but will leave the food. We gave him the order code and after complaining to a very unhelpful delivery we are now out if pocket. Useless!!!
The service I received from Deliveroo this afternoon was disgusting.I paid for my supermarket shopping, subsequently the bulk of the shopping (6 out of 7 bags) was delivered to me , however one last bag of shopping (7/7) was left behind at the shop.I called Deliveroo to ask for them to send a rider to collect the last bag of shopping and deliver it to me.They called the supermarket to confirm that a bag of shopping was waiting there to be collected and the supermarket confirmed that it was.Deliveroo told me that they couldn’t send another rider as on the Deliveroo system it said that the delivery had been completed, even though both I AND the supermarket told them the delivery HAD NOT been completed. I even spoke to a Deliveroo supervisor who also said that the final bag waiting at the supermarket couldn’t be collected and delivered as the Deliveroo system said that the delivery had been made in full even though they knew that was incorrect.This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced .
To start off i placed a order it then took my money and never put the order through. Then I wait in a 40 minute cue to then be told that I have to ring the next day. So now have to call during work time tomorrow to try and sort this.
Placed an order to Nando’s for over £100, Deliveroo only delivered 3 items all sides no main meals. Rang deliveroo’s customer service they continued to tell us they “understand” however could not give a refund or get the food sent to us. We asked as to why this was and they could NOT give a reason as to why they refused to help in anyway. Came away from the call with no refund and no food £100 down. Decided to go to Nando’s they told us how Deliveroo didn’t place the whole order they even showed proof of this, can’t praise Nando’s Horsham enough as they did the order there and then and was very lovely and understanding of our frustration. From now on NO deliveries will be made through Deliveroo!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
