My daughter ordered food for me on the order 1533 the food didn’t come I contacted Deliveroo on numerous occasions to be told he left it outside and so do my daughter on chat with no PIN number given I didn’t think that was possible how ever they said they sent a photo off my shopping where it was left even ask for it to be delivered on my email and has on my daughters neither of us has got this photo I believe the drivers could of taken it as this isn’t a policy we are a aware off leaving with out code thos is definitely not the customer service we should of received as we are good customers this very poor customer support
All the hot food arrived cold. The 6 Chicken McNuggets, the Medium Grinched McShaker Fries, the Medium 6 Chicken McNuggets® Meal. The ice cream McFlurry, ironically, arrived in a warm, liquid state. The delivery was late. There was no brownie but a sugar donut instead. How does that even happen in an entry-level job that you perform daily? The Deliveroo CS response was to refund the blatant dessert error and “compensate” me for the only items that weren’t affected (the cold drinks) to the tune of a 37.8% refund despite the entire hot menu being affected. The service charge for inadequate service and the delivery charge for a late delivery remained unsurprisingly unchanged. Absolute train wreck from both parties. This is why Deliver has a 1.1 out of 5 on TrustPilot.
Customer service is abysmal ! I emailed weeks ago as they offered me £2 credit to allow notifications, so I agreed … never got the credit…I emailed my email etc over (as asked)anyway over 2 weeks after my original email they’ve emailed me back asking for the email id already sent. Absolutely useless!!! I’ll try and avoid and use justeat/Uber eats tbh. It’s only 2 quid but it’s the principle for me.
Avoid any company that uses deliveroo. A driver had my food for over 45 mins, driving to at least 5 stops before he got to me. My food was cold, ice cream melted. When you spend £40 on takeaway you'd expect your food to be delivered promptly and not take a tour round Torquay first
Diabolical customer services. The agent continually spoke over me repeating the same sentence.Contacted them for help in obtaining a refund due to undercooked food we received. We did try to resolve with the restaurant first but they advised us to contact deliveroo for a refund.Deliveroo not interested in the slightest.
I ordered 2 items from wagamamas- one did not arrive when i called deliveroo i was told i would be refunded the items cost. However the item cost me more as i paid for delivery on top. I also got deliveroo priority which is a piss take and im very upset and i will be complaining to every place i can cuz its just not acceptable to refund me less the money i put towards it and not to mention not bring me my food when i paid extra to prioritise it.
worst service ever. ordered a large order that only delivered the sauces. Waited for 3 hours, on the phone, on the chat, no resolution. Went to get it refunded the next day and the only answer is "it is not in our policy". How is it not in the policy to give a refund if we didn't receive our order? Do not waste your time and money with this company.
