What started as an innovative organisation, is now frankly dreadful. Just wasted a bunch of time this evening trying to get a refund for am order that wasn't delivered. Driver left a ripped bag and sauces in the road. Not sure what he did with the food. Customer service really poor.
Been trying to get a refund or credit for order not received and looks like I'm not getting one . So basically they have stolen my money. There chat kept saying I live in Camberley but it clearly says Ash on my account . I think they do this on purpose to keep our money . I did get a credit to my account for the money i spent so that's something.
Fraud, driver marked as unable to deliver 3 expensive bottles of wine and left. Deliveroo still charged and rejected to refund explaining no ID was shown. Not to mention driver never came to our door.How can they still charge someone of goods are not delivered?
So after a few years of using Deliveroo they f**cked up majorly. Ordered a weekly shop. Didn’t even get half of it. Now bearing in mind I haven’t received a receipt in years and have said this on other claims.. but the claim in question being a weekly shop was £90+ so I’m guessing Deliveroo will only refund under £20 cos I’ve never had trouble for the smaller claims. Again the claim in question is over £50 and I already received half of it. This claim was made over a week ago now! They are saying without a receipt and pictures of the items in the bags they wouldn’t entertain a refund.. who keeps perishable items over a week “just Incase Deliveroo might need a picture with it in bags”!!! Customer services are unbelievable! They’re not budging on there decision. Soo here we are.. me letting you all know you don’t have a leg to stand on if/when you make a claim. BE WARNED! What am I supposed to do with no receipt and half of my shopping!! Utterly despicable!
This Shower of SH💩T service is soooooo Poor it shouldn’t even have a 1-star score- It’s absolutely disgraceful and pathetic service is beyond anything I’ve experienced. If I could put this Horrendous service in words it would be Awful, Wasteful, Disgraceful, Shameful, Pathetic, Horrific, Horrendous, Disgusting, Rubbish, Crap, Terrible, Shambolic, Trash, Puke 🤮 Every one should delete this Pathetic Waste of time App service from their Phone asap. I have a flu and it’s 9am, i really need some flu tablets and some breakfast. I usually use uber eats, so i go on there and there’s £7 delivery charge and not many options. So i try deliveroo and they have good deals, free delivery and many choices to choose from. I got my flu tablets and breakfast and it arrived quickly. Good prices and deals. I’m surprised by all the reviews because I found some good deals with free delivery on there. Please keep having the discounts and deals deliveroo!
We have been waiting 1 hr 20 mins for our order and it still hasn't arrived. Phoned customer services and they blamed it on the restaurant saying the food wasn't ready, so we gave them the benefit of the doubt as they said it was only 10 mins away. That was 15 mins ago and still no sign of food.
I live a 3 minute drive from McDonald's. Should I just drive there? Probably. But sometimes after a 12 hour shift you just can't be bothered and you pay for the convenience of just having someone bring you it. Besides... Someone has to keep the latest batch of boat arrivals busy with something other than sitting in the hotels we're also funding...Despite the close proximity, each time I've ordered through Deliveroo from this McDonald's (yes, my laziness is not as infrequent as it should be!) it almost always arrives cold because the driver will go 5 miles in the opposite direction first. This evening, deciding I wanted food that felt like it was cooked today rather than yesterday, I paid the £2.49 Priority Delivery "tax". This on top of my Deliveroo Gold membership. Rider picked up my food, disappeared off in the other direction and delivered my food in about the same time as normal and when he opened the bag, had orders from another restaurant inside. Chatted to an agent from Deliveroo, who confirmed that "Priority" delivery only means your food will be the first delivery. It doesn't mean that the rider isn't allowed to go off to another restaurant, collect there, then deliver your food. So actually, you're not the priority at all. The £2.49 fee is just a form of scam which makes absolutely no difference to the speed at which you'll get your food.
