Website and App frequently lock us out and are non-user friendly trying to reset password - don't recognize new passwords or state "unable to log you in".
No links or tel #'s for tech support AND good luck trying to get through to their customer service representatives in under an hour of phone hold or almost equally as long on their chats, which keep kicking you out because their representatives take so long to respond.
Longtime Platinum Amex Skymiles members - going to cancel our cards - horrible customer service, useless Skymiles, unworkable companion tickets, high annual fee.

Our flight out of St,Thomas was cancelled. The staff at the airport repetitively inform us that our hotel expense will be re-imbursed. If we don't like the hotel they assigned to us, we can choose one we like and they will re-imburse us. Many of us asked the staffs if there is a budget restriction, different staff confirmed again and again there is no limit. We decided to book a hotel within reasonable price range (as the matter of fact, later on we found some of the passengers were assigned to that same hotel that night).
After we submitted the reimbursement request, they told us they can only approve partial of the expense. I wrote to them, a supervisor named Jada Herring sent me an email and called me ask me to resubmit the request, I did, got denied again.
This was the worst airline experience ever. I brought my friend to Utah we made it through security and he had his boarding pass on phone and paper. Once we got to the gate they said we didn’t have the ticket even though we clearly had the boarding pass. Which makes no sense how we got through security if he “didn’t have a ticket” then we proceeded to pass 900$ for the round trip instead of the original 500$ worst airline experience ever not my first time they said we didn’t have our ticket same happened 2 months ago with my brother and we had to pay more money for another ticket.
I have a credit card with Delta Skymiles I recently signed up for and am already not happy with them. They have all kinds of rules to cash in rewards and their website kicks you out constantly and the biggest scam is that they inflate the hotel reviews showing the hotel has a much higher satisfaction rate than it really does. The hotel I booked showed a 7.6 satisfaction out of 10 on delta.com, then after booking it with a non-refundable payment I immediately noticed other websites rated the exact hotel at 6.3/10 and Tripadvisor at 2.9/5 (which is 5.8/10) I immediately went to cancel the reservation that was literally just made and received a message I would be charged for the room anyway. Delta is a scam. They inflate customer reviews so they can book travel. Do not sign up with them for a credit card or anything else. I am going to be done with them shortly! I also called Delta and was told they were busier than usual and would call me back in about 10 minutes. That was 1.5 hours ago, and never got a call back.
Very disappointed with the customer service agent that helped be rebook my flight due to bad weather. After completing the new booking tickets, I was told I was all set. When I checked in at the airport, the agent at the ticket counter told me that I had to pay $900 for my new ticket. I wish I was told this on the phone when I was rebooking. I would have chose another option. I fly all the time. This was such a disruption and disappointment of starting my trip. This definitely will have me rethinking the next time who I fly with
Worst experience ever. Thought canadian airlines are bad until I tried Delta. Both my flights from vancouver to new york with layover at Seattle in and out had delays which made me almost miss my connection on my way in and actually miss my connection on my way out. Had to stay over night in Seattle. Wont fly with them ever again and you probably shouldn't as well
I traveled from ATL to Costa Rica from January 12-18. Delta is often regarded as a top airline, but my experience was disappointing. The flight attendants displayed a lack of courtesy, and their demeanor felt almost intimidating as they moved through the aisles. I’ve decided not to fly with Delta again.
The staff were very helpful and courteous. My recent trip was cancelled because of mechanical problems. They offered complimentary snacks and water, along with a meal voucher. I prefer to wait for another flight rather than board an unsafe aircraft.
Our flight from Detroit to Amsterdam was delayed by 3 hours, causing us to miss our connecting flight by just 10 minutes. We were a group of 44, and I believe they should have delayed the next flight for us, especially since that plane left with many empty seats. We arrived at 11 o’clock, but the next available flight wasn’t until 9 PM, which made us miss our bus connection to our accommodations in the mountains, as well as a welcome party and a special dinner we had arranged. The service provided no assistance beyond a $15 voucher for the airport, which I find completely unacceptable. This situation was not our fault, and the responsibility lies entirely with the airline. We were also not informed about the reason for the delay. Upon arrival in Amsterdam, they should have prioritized those of us with connecting flights to Geneva, and they definitely should have held the flight for an additional 10 minutes.
I had a $500 gift card that was fraudulently used by someone else, according to the airline, in December 2025. Despite being linked to my account, it wasn't used for my flight booking. Now, they claim they won't cover any losses from stolen gift cards. So, happy holidays to the individual who misused it—DO NOT EVER BUY A GIFT CARD FROM THIS AIRLINE FOR FAMILY! If someone is allowed to use it, you’ll end up paying the price, not the airline!
