Scammers, do not use DHL Mexico, they are working with shipping company in Mexico called la Patita to scam money. We took a package said everything that was in it. We paid the delivery fee and a an extra fee that now we know was a scam to be able to recover the package. When we asked for the refund because they put false information on the box and it got sent back they denied it. I've been trying to get this sorted with DHL and got referred to DHL México they gave me false information and a fake number to call. Don't use these services they commit fraud and steal from you.
AWFUL AWFUL AWFULThey put shipments into EXCEPTION status and ON HOLD for no reason at all. Or, if they do have a reason, it is often made up - like "MOVED AWAY" when we have been here the whole time. They will, rarely admit it was just because they had too many packages and it was "reprogrammed" (yes, I realized this is a translation issue). They will then refer you to a WhatsApp number with a Ft Lauderdale area code when you ask to speak to someone in English only for that number to tell you they can't/won't help you with packages for Mexico.Do yourself a favor - CHOOSE ANY OTHER PROVIDER besides DHL. Estafata is good, FedEx is also OK. If you want your package to arrive on-time DO NOT CHOOSE DHL. It isn't even the cheapest so I do not know why companies like Amazon insist on using them.If there was a ZERO star rating option, I would choose it.

I used to think they were a good company, but importing something from US, forget it. They delay and delay then have the nerve to charge extortionate amounts for storage of your package, on top of taxes and handling fees. You already pay them to cover the handling when you book them. Repeatedly ask for info you have already sent, same with forms, delay, delay, don't answer emails for 2-3 days, not clear on what they need, they refuse to specify, assume you're telepathic. Never, ever again am I shipping anything from US to Mexico, or ever requesting DHL as the courier, the stress and hassle is not worth it. Yet another reason this country has gone down the pan.16 days after package arrived there, I still dont have it, It did get to my door, then they wanted me to pay all the fees again!!!
I was received by a young man named Diego García..with a big smile,i Mite add,so I got to send my sister her package.with no problem..it was an international order ..I don't have very much experience on, sending packages to the united states' ..but Diego es there to make me feel at home. with no problem..and this was at DHL in Tijuana bc
I had my family send my my renewal auto tag restriction and sticker along with my update driver’s license. I paid $96.11 for international delivery assuming my package would be secure. It arrived and had been opened and taped shut. They put a security label on it. Not only did they look inside the DHL package they sliced open both of my personal letters from the STATE OF FLORIDA.🤬 My DL was no longer attached to the paper and just stuck in the envelope. I don’t care what country this is- it is NOT ok. SERIOUSLY DHL THIS IS YOUR POLICY? IT’S DISGUSTING AND I FEEL VIOLATED. Did YOUR employees copy my ID? Were they looking for money or credit cards? I have filed a complaint but I see that going nowhere.
My son sent me a box of personal hobby items on December 12th from Canada. I could not fit them in my luggage when we moved here to Mexico. It cost me over $200 Cdn to pay for DHL to ship it. 3 months later after sending proof of my address, my ID, and all kinds of info, they told me I had to pay almost 6000 pesos in charges ranging from gratuities, to handling, to ´third party charges´ and so on. Oddly, the package finally showed up at my door on or about Februarty 28th!! No request for any payment and no signature required. What a mess! There were craft beads and items strewn throughout the box, embedded into the box and everything that had been sent to me sorted and protected in little plastic boxes with locks on them was completely a mess. It took me over 8 hours to sort everything, cut the box and take the little beads out of the carboard as they had been pressed in. They literally must have dumped everything. I don´t even know if anything is missing because I haven´t seen those things for over 3 years. I left them in my sons storage. I will never ship anything internationally via DHL again! Today they show up at my door with an invoice. I am not going to pay that. They destroyed everything and the declared value on the whole box was on $50 because I have had most of this stuff for 20 years and most was purchase here in Mexico. Bits of stuff for making costume jewelry, a couple of silver plated teaspoons that were my mothers and some costume jewelry rings. This is unbelievable that they would have the nerve to charge me. A lady from customer service contacted me via email in early March to ´check if everything was OK with my shipment.´ I said No and she subsequently wanted photos which I sent. Then correspondence from a man in that department, then her again saying we had to deal with Canada and make a claim there. Why. The damage was done here I think. The package was in the city of Queretaro on December 20th or earlier as on that date I received the first email from DHL requesting signatures on forms etc. I stupidly invested over 20 hours back and forth with them in Spanish completing forms and proving who I am and where I live. They destroyed my package and dare to charge me! No way. I do not care who did all that damage or where. They are responsible to handle my goods with care all the way. That is what we pay for.
I like to complain about the horrible service of DHL in delivering my package on this case this happened to my mom here goes the story.My mom was selling baby toys in Facebook marketplace when a customer buy she two toys so my mom go to DHL to send the toys to the customer that live in other country so my mom give to him the toys they put it in a parcel and my mom give the direction of the customer to send it so yeah it was sent but the parcel broke in the travel and they sent it to another direction that was not my customer house so I try to get compensation for the things that happened but they didn’t give anything in my opinion I don’t recommend send your packages in DHL please don’t do it.
3rd Amazon shipment this year that has not arrived due to a failure by DHL. They either can't or won't deliver it and send me messages like 'we can find your address' or 'your address is not accurate' but literally every other package arrives no problem. Useless shipping service here in Mexico. Ask the seller if they use DHL, if they do, purchase from a different vendor. Soooo frustrating!
