Review Time
So, they arrived at the doorstep and told me that the GST was payable. I mentioned that I've already paid the GST and they casually say, oh! If that's the case it will only be reflected on the system 3-5 business days later. We will come back. So ... if I had known that paying by credit card would place me in a worse off position, I would have paid it on the spot instead. But I'm just impressed by how casual they are about the use of their time (and other people's time).
I was on 2.5 weeks leave when DHL sent the invoice. After I returned, I took a couple of days to clear my inbox and finally got to the DHL billing email, I submitted for processing. Then I received another email from DHL SECURE CREDIT CARD TEAM, saying that our account is under suspension. I replied to this email apologizing for the delay and explained that I just returned from my leave and had submitted the invoice and that the payment would be processed on Friday. Our payment run is on every Friday. To that, this DHL SECURE CREDIT CARD TEAM replied -"As a one-time exception, we will extend the deadline until Friday, 21st February 2025.If payment is not received by then, we will place the account on credit stop."Does this employee think he/she is a big shot? Fancy threatening us with these statements over a bill of $54? Putting our account on suspension and on credit stop? Does DHL think that they are the only international shipping company in Singapore? We are not owing them millions for months, for goodness sake. I am not impressed with DHL's attitude on this.
Sadly, a litany of farcical mess ups, I guess due to extremely poor internal communication, and/or staff not having enough time to read instructions, addresses and to care.I am not sure what the issue actually is with DHL but I can only imagine, profit before service, and F the customer. The next time I order something online, I will establish first BEFORE I hand over my money, that DHL is not the courier.
I dropped my parcel at Cheers SMRT Woodlands (DHL Partner). On that day, I was not sure CANADA zip code so I blank it on manual form. I used it because DHL apps does not work. Then, Cheers staff ask me the code then I told her to write down on the form. What I disappoint was, she asked me why the code is purely numbering. What the hell.... who has taught her postal/ zip code always has to be numbering only.
I got a message from DHL asking for "no signature delivery".....I pressed to accept out of convenience and goodwill and the next message is saying I releasing DHL and sender liability for any loss.This means DHL can actually lose the goods before delivering and get a way with it. If they offer such options then they must indicate this liability message together with the request even before I decide.Now I cannot even get any sense out of their whatsapp message system that does not allow me to reverse my decision.This is like entrapment and is disgusting.....No wonder people are saying DHL stands for "Delivery Halfway Lost"
Trash carrier. Extortion at its best. Duties and customs extra charge from a free trade country. No tariffs with that country. But yet they want $44 to make the delivery. Total Scam!! Never use this company. They need to sink to bottom. I will be telling everyone I meet never to use this company
Had a unpleasant experience with DHL Express. Made an arrangement to deliver on Dec 07 morning. They didn't deliver, I called them and was told that the parcel was still in the warehouse. WHAT? I will not opt for DHL services anymore.
I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews for DHL..Maybe I'm just one of the lucky ones, But I've never encountered any issues with them. I've been using DHL on and off for a long time. I still remember their iconic tv ad promising to deliver by 10.30am next morning. As a curious teenager back then, I decided to test it by sending packages to HK and having my friends to sent packages from HK to me. sure enough , package arrives 10.30 am the next day and sometimes slightly earlier than 10.30am. The doorbel ring and I can hear the delivery man shout , DHL!! as I approach the front door. The experience has left a lasting impression, and even today, I still smile when I chose DHL as my courier choice, recalling that memorable ad. Of course, times have changed, and with the rise of online shopping, achieving such precision is no longer feasible. However, I still trust DHL. I'll never forget the time they went above and beyond to help me with an issue involving another courier company well known for lost and stolen packages. unfortunately , I had fallen victim by their poor service and was left extremely frustrated by their Customer Service that was outsource in a foreign country. The customer service support gave no support at all but instead provide me with useless confusing information and lies. Out of desperation , I called DHL's customer service, even though it wasn't their responsibility to help. To my surprise, the person on the other end listened, offered advice, and guided me on how to resolve the issue. Following his advice, I eventually got my refund from the other courier company. Since then, whenever I have multiple courier choice options while shopping online, I always choose DHL. My packages have always been safe with them and I never forget the assistance they provided, even when they weren't obligated to. Overall I have nothing but positive experiences with DHL. Received my latest package yesterday evening , the process was all smooth and delivery guy was pleasant.
Ridiculous service provided by DHL.1. Shipment pick up on 4 Oct 2024 by DHL.2. Track on 7 Oct 2024 still in DHL warehouse.3. Track again on 9 Oct 2024 shipment still in DHL warehouse.4. Today 10 Oct 2024 check again, no updates.5. Check with DHL customer service, either nobody pick up or the call passing around and no updates no reason given why the shipment stuck in DHL warehouse and no flights arrange for this shipment to be sent out. 6. Payment all done and no shipment schedule at all.Almost a week and shipment still stuck in DHL warehouse. What's going on with DHL services?
