Overpriced Fees at Airport Rental

Be aware: this car rental service imposes extra charges disguised as 'insurance.' I booked a rental through a comparison platform and prepaid the rental fee. Upon arrival, I could only get the car if I paid an additional EUR 315. After my trip, I raised the issue with the platform, but they claimed I had accepted the extra fee by signing the contract.

Fuel Issues at Pickup

The car was not fully fueled at pickup, making it hard to return with the same amount of fuel. I was charged €34 for a small fuel discrepancy upon return, which seems excessive considering normal gauge variations. Additionally, the vehicle was dirty, the wipers were worn, and the staff appeared untrained. Overall, a letdown.

Dishonest Practices

If I could give zero stars, I would. There was no one at the return desk, and later I received an email claiming damage to the window. The car had numerous minor marks upon pickup, yet a new one mysteriously appeared at return. They kept my full deposit of 1500 euros and provided no communication. I have to pursue fraudulent claims through my credit card and insurance. Don't be lured by their low prices; you'll pay dearly in the end.

Caution with This Service

Caution with this service. We rented at an airport and had to switch cars three times due to poor maintenance. When returning the car filled with diesel, everything seemed fine. Weeks later, they claimed we used the wrong fuel. Fortunately, I had the credit card receipt proving we filled up with diesel. After seeing my proof, they claimed it must have been 'contaminated.' They are attempting to steal over €600 from us. This is the most dishonest service we've encountered, and it seems the authorities are turning a blind eye. A solid reason to avoid this location.

Not Worth Even One Star

I wouldn't give even one star. I faced issues with the car being vandalized; with insurance, I needed the invoice and payment receipt for reimbursement. Despite sending multiple emails, I received no response. They simply took my deposit and charged extra for a minor scratch.

Consider Other Rental Options

Please think about other rental companies at the airport. I reserved a specific vehicle but was given a lower category car. The vehicle I received was dirty and quite dated.

Terrible Rental Experience

I had one of the most frustrating rental experiences ever. They charged me €264 for alleged 'new damage,' despite having timestamped photos showing it was pre-existing. There was no joint vehicle inspection at pickup, and I had to locate the vehicle without staff help. The return was via Key Drop, so no inspection was done in my presence. Later, they claimed the damage was new and refused to refund. Communication was slow and dismissive. I've filed a chargeback and will report this to the consumer center. My impression: the process is unprofessional and unhelpful. Document everything if you decide to rent here.

Attempted Scam

They tried to scam me. I rented a car with full insurance, but the staff at the counter insisted it was invalid and demanded €7500 for insurance and deposit. They even claimed my credit card wasn't valid and insisted on cash payment. They refused to communicate with customer service. I had to leave and rent another car at triple the cost. It was a terrible experience.
