I do occasional purchases and none ever was disappointing. Once cancelled an order with no difficulty which I appreciated greatly. Overall for my family it’s a point to go for household items and gifts for children as well as a trusted source of information (product details + reviews)
Usually excellent service from Digitec Galaxus, but unfortunately their logistics partner Planzer has been a recurring problem for me. Since they started using Planzer, delivery has become a lottery.This time, I urgently needed a product on Saturday. The parcel was marked as delivered, but Planzer delivered it to the wrong house despite the correct address. There was no way to reach anyone on Saturday to resolve the issue.This isn’t an isolated incident. On previous occasions, parcels were simply left on top of the mailbox without ringing the doorbell. If something goes missing, the burden is then placed on the customer to deal with the police and follow-ups.As a result, I did not receive the merchandise I needed, and I now have to spend additional time trying to sort out a problem that is clearly due to delivery incompetence. This is the only reason I am giving one star—otherwise, my experiences with Digitec Galaxus itself have generally been very good.
My orders were treated promptly however I must agree with a number of your customers that your return charges are outrageous. The laptop cableCharger I returned was CHF 34.70 plus CHF4.90 postage. My refund was CHF27.70 - a charge of CHF11.90!! I had to return the cable because despite it saying it was compatible with my ASUS laptop the connecting plug did not go into my laptop. To be charged so much for returning it is totally unreasonable and purely money making
Last time I've bought something was 2 days ago, but overall I've been using Digitec for the last 15 years for literally hundreds of orders, and - even in case of problems and having to chat with support - they always come through. Solid support (I've used it like 3 times, no issues in the end, even if I had to negotiate a bit at times), website has all the info I need, there are useful comments from other shoppers, and they have almost everything. And they also allow problemless returns in case of buying something that doesn't work out in the end.
