They would be getting a below 1 star rating for scamming customers out of 24.99 to tell them what they already know. There disclaimer is well below the pay button so a person believes they are buying unlock codes if those go down into the FINE PRINT AT THE BOTTOM they are only buying a service to tell them what they already know there phone is not stolen there phone is not blacklisted. So an essence you are flushing 24.99 down the toilet. Its a scam dont fall for it. If they were reputable and did a good job the FINE PRINT WOULD BE BEFORE THE PAY BUTTON IN LARGE PRINT BOLD AND BLACK. This company rakes in thousands extra in fees. Its the worst kind of company. Save Your money and find some company more REPUTABLE in my opinion you would be doing yourself a positive. Why they have responded I still would not recommend this company as I still believe its a total scam. Who reads the fine print at the bottom first? I did not want a eligibility test, I did not need an eligibility test my phone is brand new. I believed I was buying unlock codes for a brand new phone not someone telling me its not stolen, not blacklisted I already knew that!! Its a con to get more money out of you !!!
I did not do an IEI checked this time I did an unlocked it said it would be instant I didn't need an IMEI number it said it was $24 for an unlocked that's the money I paid now you're telling me it's a $106 y'all scamming people I'm sorry there's no way you have a close 25 star review because I've worked with y'all twice and each time you rip me off each time there was a hidden fee why not tell people the whole amount that it will cost me there was no immie eye check it was for an unlocked code and it said it would be instant now you want a $106

Been going on for over a month for their six hour service. Wound up paying three different times, one was just to see if I was eligible. The second one which was $70 was enough to tell me I had to pay for the premium service so now I am $300 in, my phone is not unlocked and all this company does is give you the runaround. You speak with somebody through an AI chat bot, so I'm actually having to contact my bank to charge back what they charged. They even said if you do that they'll blacklist your phone, however, my provider said that would be the worst mistake they could possibly make.

Misleading website. $24.95 does not get your iPhone unlocked; it merely checks to see if your iPhone CAN be unlocked. Then it's MORE MONEY. Update to the company reply. NOWHERE, ANYWHERE on the page does it mention the word "Eligibility Check" in addition to a deceitful site; now you're also liars.
I can confirm, Direct Unlocks is indeed a scam. Despite reading numerous reviews, I opted to use Direct Unlocks to unlock my phone. Initially charged $25.00, they proceeded with what seemed like the unlocking process. However, it turned out to be merely a test to see if unlocking was feasible. Once they confirmed it was possible, they charged an additional $55.00
