DirectUnlocks.com is not honest about their unlock fees. I paid $24.99, thinking that was the total cost. It wasn’t — that fee was only for “eligibility verification,” something the website doesn’t make clear at all. After that, they asked for another $106 to complete the unlock. At that point, I doubted even that would be the final charge. Also, they display fake Trustpilot reviews and an inflated 4.7/5 rating on their site. Don’t fall for it — stay away from this company.
I am not satisfied with my experience with this company. The process was full of delays, with no clear explanations, and the support team was not helpful in resolving the issue. I had to follow up constantly, yet there was no proper resolution. This level of disorganization and lack of accountability is disappointing for a professional service. I hope this feedback helps them improve their customer experience.
ke promises.I paid $24.99 thinking I was unlocking my phone, only to be told after payment that I must pay another $60 to “complete the unlock.”This was never mentioned before payment — pure deceptive advertising. When I asked for a refund, they hid behind “terms and conditions” that were never clearly shown.Their customer support keeps sending copy-paste replies and pretending to “help” while refusing to take responsibility.I will be reporting them to the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and Action Fraud UK for online fraud.Avoid this company at all costs! They take your money and then pressure you for more. Shameful, unethical, and dishonest business.+201000195853
This is a scam that some reprobate is working very hard at. At first they get you with a $28 payment and it looks like it’s all going to work but somewhere along the way apparently the small print tells you that that payment was just to check if it will will work. Then they charge you $83 for the standard service. The progress bar goes up to 99% over the course of a month. Then they message you and ask if you want them to escalate the issue (totally free this one!) but of course nothing happens. More time passes. Then they let you know that iPhones sometimes have issues but they will fix it if you pay out a massive amount for a premium service, now you are invested. Does it work? No. They say they can issue refunds but this is not cash, the only option is a credit on future scam purchases with them. The brazen replies to reviews is heartbreaking for any unsuspecting person because it looks so convincing. The positive reviews appear to be a mix of fakes and people whose service is ‘processing’.
Warning and caution! Do not use this company's services under any circumstances. First, they request an authorization check, which does not indicate that this is not the hoped-for activation—only then do they charge another fee for the unlocking! In addition, DirectUnlocks tries to prevent the issuance of an invoice in order to conceal a legally binding transaction! In my case, the unlocking did not work and DirectUnlocks refuses to refund the amount paid—this is extremely dubious and fraudulent. We cannot allow such criminal activities to continue for future customers and will hold DirectUnlocks accountable regardless of the cost and file a lawsuit in court—and don't worry, our company also has a branch in London...!
