Distrokid has thrown me through a loop on multiple occasions, and because they have no actual customer support and it's all bots, my issue was never resolved. They would "release tracks", but never send the metadata to the platform, then block me out from re uploading because the track was "already uploaded" to streaming services, yet it's not there. But I can somehow pre save it on that platform...for a song that doesn't exist?? They're shit. All this bot shit is shit.
I am Elmedina Mazlami with artist name Rowan Finch I also have some experience with other distributers but I search and change my distributor and I go to distrokid but this platform is JOKING WITH THEIR COSTUMER this is 1 month I try to contact distrokid for my problem with my withdrawal no one response to me I made one withdrawal they have problem staying pending for no reason Distrokid doesn't response to my email I also have proof of all I say here this is the bad platform for artist on this planet who don't want to have problem don't use distrokid their team is joking with my money!!!
I paid for a DistroKid subscription but the service is not functioning and my releases are not entering distribution.
Chat support never connects to a human agent and my support ticket received no response.
I am requesting a refund and closure of the account. I will update this review once the issue is resolved.
Easy to use, simple, direct, no BS. Quick review and release to the platforms. I just uploaded my files, entered a few info about the compositions, and that's it!
Less than a week and my album is already available on Spotify, iTunes, etc.
If you are an artist and want to share your art, this is the right place.
I love the service but as a new user its been confusing to understand everything a more intuitive new comer experience would give this 5 star IMO. It also feels like a lot of features pricing is hidden until you buy a sub. Aside from this the service works great and the site works well. I cant speak to the customer service as ive not needed it so far!
I got something what they call editorial back in 2024 they were pretty much saying your music is shit. My susbscirption renewed and i couldent upload music i asked for a refund they have blocked me fully from emailing them and have took my money DONT BUY DISTROKID

I am dealing with a frustrating situation. There is a significant mapping bug on my multi-artist plan that is hindering my work. Despite reaching out daily, instead of addressing the technical issue, the support team seems to be retaliating against me. They repeatedly send the same generic responses and overlook the evidence I present. It feels like I'm being punished for being persistent. As a professional artist, I rely on this income, and it feels like I'm being silenced by a support team that dislikes being challenged. My career is at a standstill because they refuse to recognize a backend issue. I need assistance from someone who genuinely cares about creators, rather than automated responses that disregard paying customers.
The service chose to release the song the following day after several disputes in the chat box and contacting through a messaging platform. I provided proof that the song was never submitted to a major platform as initially promised. However, the company really needs to improve its customer service communication, as the current chat system is not effective. Additionally, the representatives in the chat should receive better training to assist customers more effectively, rather than relying on scripts and providing inaccurate information about release times. It's also unprofessional for them to disconnect from customers before all issues are resolved.
I had been using the service for some time, but then my account stopped functioning. When I attempted to log out, I found I couldn't access my account due to an email change. I reached out to the support team, and they said they would get back to me in a few days, but nothing happened. They charged me for another year and 10 euros per song without any questions. Now, no one is responding to my emails... Very disappointing customer service.
