I was referred to Divebooker with a friend I met on a liveaboard. I chose to give them a shot and the site was easy to use so I booked a trip for my family. I've originally booked a 4 person trip as a family to Egypt and due to Covid our plans had to change. Even though refunds weren't possible and flexibilty was questionable, Divebooker worked with us and the fleet through the entire process and moved us to a date that worked for both ends. This wasn't an easy process at all, it took 51 emails back and forth to find a solution that worked within our visa, the fleet availability and Covid limitations but Divebooker made it happen! Even in crazy times such as the pandemic, you can count on the customer service of Divebooker (shoutout to Teresa!) and dont have to hesitate twice when booking your next trip. I truly recommend this site: go for it!
The divebooker service is excellent. I was really worried because of the pandemic and cancellations but the team was very helpful and answered all questions and doubts promptly. Finally, after months of lockdown, I got my well desired holiday. Special thanks to Teresa( who I have been interacting with most )Now about the trip itself. I went on 7 day adventure with Scubaspa Yang and it was everything I could imagine and more. The vessel is the biggest in Maldives and the most beautiful boat I’ve ever stepped on. It has gorgeous sun deck and really beautiful spa, where one can enjoy a superb massage( recommending the Balinese ) I booked the sea star cabin which was very comfortable and spacious. It has a purple mood light - I liked the little touch. The buffet was amazing. Not only was it delicious but I also liked the fact that it was COVID proof- guests were served directly from the buffet instead of touching the items themselves. There was one issue though: the food was so good that I was constantly overeating. Scubaspa also has a beautiful bar and bartender Sajiv was making amazing cocktails. The dive trips were incredible too. We were lucky to see numerous pellagics, whale shark, even a manta. Maldives is a true paradise for scuba divers. So far I have been scuba diving in Khorfakan, Seychelles, Zanzibar and Philippines but Maldives leads by a mile. Last but not least : the amazing crew made the stay just perfect. Big thanks to Simon, the cruise manager, Sajiv, Pavel for always being so helpful on the boat, Jahvid and Sheppa for incredible dives and everyone else from the team( don’t remember all the names ) and mainly the star of the boat: waiter Jim, the best waiter in Maldives. It was a fantastic trip that is hard to beat.
